4.Read and find T: This time please open your books. Read picture1and 2 in pairs. What would they like?

What would Mike like? S1: I’d like a hamburger and a glass of milk. T: What about Helen? S2: I’d like some noodles. T: What would Dad like? S3: I’d like a sandwich and a cup of coffee. (边回答边板书) 5. Read and underline

T: They would like so much food. But how do they order food? Please scan the story and underline the sentences they use to order food.

S1: What would you like?

S2: What about you?

S3: Anything else?

T: Can you read these sentences?

T: “What about you?” means “What would you like?”, so we cannot ask the same question too many times.

T: “Anything else?” and ”What about you?” are complements, we cannot ask at the beginning of our talk. 【设计意图:解决问题的方式多样,可以通过同桌互读寻找答案,也可以自己快速浏览找,引导学生自主学习文本,加深对文本的理解。将突破重难点放在整体任务之下,避免肢解课文,忽视主旨。】

T: Which group? How many hamburgers can they get? 【设计意图:通过课件的声音播放和板书功能,使朗读表演形象化,培养学生正确的朗读习惯和生动表演的能力,激发学生表演的欲望。】

5. Let’s order

T: Christmas is coming. Let’s go to buy some food for our Christmas party. This time please work in pairs. When ordering food, these sentences can help you.
