二、Teaching goals：

语言能力：Master the structure of a letter of reply; Master some relative expressions to start the letter, to list the examples of Chinese social customs. 文化意识：Different countries have different social customs. Through the discussion with their partners, learn about how Chinese people behave in daily life, and enjoy the charm of the Chinese social customs. 思维品质: Through the class, form the idea of the different ways of Chinese social customs and know something about the Chinese social customs. And next time, when refer to this topic, have something to say. 学习能力：Students can use what have leaned in class to write a letter of reply according to the requirements and co-operate with each other to get some useful information.

三、Importance and difficulties: How to write according to the key points and how to introduce different kinds of Chinese social customs, and organize the whole passage.

四、教学内容分析：

根据《英语课程内容六要素》中，文化知识是指中外文化知识，包括物质文化和精神文化，具体内容涵盖有，物质文化包括饮食、服饰、建筑、交通以及相关的技术发明与创造等。而精神文化包括哲学、社会、科学、教育、历史、文学、艺术，也包括价值观念、道德修养、审美情趣，社会规约和风俗习惯等。本节课是围绕中国社交习俗这个主题展开的一节写作课。中国社交习俗既是同学们熟悉的话题又是模糊的话题。因为学生缺乏对于这个话题的深入了解，所以也会出现提笔忘了从何表达的问题。本节课以为给外国友人介绍中国社交习俗的作文为主要写作任务，增强学生对于这个话题的理解，增强学生的文化意识。

本节课先从对中国社交习俗的了解再到具体了解几个方面的社交习俗为准，抓要点，整合信息，并连词成句，连句成篇。

五、学情分析: 根据《高考考纲话题项目表》，介绍不同国家的习俗也是其中的一个话题。在平时的写作中也经常遇到跟社交习俗相关的话题。本班的学生是高三的一个文科生，口语能力中等，平时比较活跃，爱思考，也能积极地参与到课堂的小活动中来。在本节课中，预期要把本节课所学到的句式，思路顺成一篇写作，并在课堂中体现出来。
