Step1 Warming up

T: Greetings as usual. Hi,everyone! Let’s look at the screen, I’ll

present you some pictures. They all belong to cultural relics, can you name them out? T: Go to the Great Wall to experience the long history of China. Fly to Taj Mahal in India to learn about a love story between a king and his Queen of the past. Visit the statue of Liberty to feel the symbol of American Culture! Or you can go to my hometown to experience Buyi culture of Fengxiang Printing which named National intangible cultural relics. T: Last period we have learnt the history of the Amber Room, What happened to the Amber Room? Where is it now? First let’s enjoy a video. Step 2 Presentation

Ask students to read the passage fast and make the following definitions: 1). What is a fact ? 2). What is an opinion ? 3). What is evidence? 3.Ask students to judge the following sentences whether it is a fact or an opinion. Step 3 Reading Task T: Now imagine that you are a judge, please read the passage carefully to fill in the chart and make a decision whether the story is a fact or an opinion. 1)What did he hear?
