一、整体设计思路

Idea of lesson design

This lesson sets out to deal with the language task in this unit. Students will read the new words and expressions of this unit, and then learn how to use these language

points.

In addition to developing students’ English learning abilities and strategies, this lesson will also raise their awareness of how to apply theories into practice and settle problems.

The analysis of Teaching Materials

This is the third period of this unit, which mainly deals with the usage of vocabulary.

The analysis of Students

Senior two students are always willing to learn new knowledge. And the topic of this unit is familiar to them and it is closely connect with their daily life. Thus, they all like to know something about that and the usage of language points.

二、教学目标

Knowledge objectives 1.To let students learn about the development of computers.

2.To let students learn about the language points.

3.To let students learn how to use the words and expressions. Ability objectives

1. To develop students language skills in using predicting, guessing and close reading techniques.

2. To raise students’ ability to solve problems independently and cooperatively.

1. To let students learn the development of computers.

2. To ask students feel and analyse computer’s influences on people’s life.

Teaching important points

Develop and practice students’ language skills. Nurture students’ ability to acquire and process information as well as their ability to analyze and solve problems. Teaching difficult points

Let students use what they have learnt in the text to settle problems. And inspire them to further discuss the land and farming. 四、教学方法

设计意图

导入部分的设计旨在让学生轻松的进入课堂。教师用单元重点词汇开始本节课，使学生从自己熟悉的内容入手，调动学生词汇量，尽可能消除陌生感。

任务前设计要求学生弄清楚题目要求，使学生通过猜测和回顾想出本单元的重点单词和短语。并通过检查记忆来回顾本单元的知识点。
