Analysis of teaching materials: The class is about the grammar of this unit-----The Attributive Clause, which plays a very important role in the grammar. Besides, it is a part that occurs in all the exams. But to students, it is also very difficult to understand and master. So I choose to teach this part using three classes and this is the first class. Teaching goals：

Knowledge and ability aims:

1. To learn the definition and structure of the attributive clause. 2. To understand the usage of the relative words. Emotional aims: 1.

To discover that learning grammar can be a fun and English is around us. 2.

Be more confident in learning grammar------the attributive clause. Teaching methods:

Multi-media method, Tasked-based method, Group co-operation method, Explanation. Teaching important and difficult points: 1.

How to help students understand the definition and form of the attributive clause.

How to help students master the usage the relative words. Teaching procedures: Step 1. Revision

Let students look at the pictures and finish the following sentences, then read them aloud. 1.He Yi Sheng Xiao Mo whose________ (主题) is about love is very popular among young people. 2.The play which/that________________ (base) a love story is written by Guman. 3.Zhong Hanliang who/that is called He Yichen in the play____________ (fond) Zhao Mosheng. 4.Zhao Mosheng whose real name is Tang Yan prefers He Yichen ______Ying Hui. 5.The girl whom He Yichen____________________ (关心) is his sister Yi Mei. 6.______(一旦......就) you watch the play which/that the picture shows, you will never forget it. Show students the following sentences and learn the sentence structure

Definition:

在复合句中修饰名词或者代词的句子。

The classification of the attributive clause. 定语从句有限制性和非限制性两种。限制性定语从句是先行词不可缺少的部分，去掉它主句意思往往不明确；非限制性定语从句是先行词的附加说明，去掉了也不会影响主句的意思，它与主句之间通常用逗号分开，例如:

This is the house which we bought last month. 这是我们上个月买的那幢房子. The house, which we bought last month, is very nice.这幢房子很漂亮，是我们上个月买的

6. Find out the relative words by learning the above sentences. 引导定语从句的关系词可以分为关系代词（作主语，宾语和定语）和关系副词（作状语）两类。

关系代词有：who, whom, that, whose, which.
