Make a plan Teaching Aims: Students can say,listen,know and read the key words and phrases:visit,film, see a film,trip,take a trip,supermarket,evening,tonight,tomorrow,next week. Students can use”--What are you going to do this evening?--I am going to...” to make dialogues. Students can arrange their activities time and can talk with others. Teaching key points: Master the key words and phrases: visit,film,see a film,trip,supermarket,evening, take a trip,tonight,tomorrow,next week. Students can use”--What are you going to do this evening?--I am going to...”to make dialogues.

Teaching difficult points: Learn to arrange their weekend time. Teaching Aids:

BBT,PPT,Word cards,pictures. Teaching procedures: Step1.Warm up

Greet each other. Step2.Lead in T:What day is it today? Ss:It’s Friday.

T:Tomorrow will be sunny, if I’m free, I’m going to visit my parents,I miss them. I want to ask you a question:What are you going to do? S1:I’m going to see a film.

S2:I’m going to buy a book.

S3:I’m going to visit my grandparents.

T:OK.Today we’ll study these new words and phrases. Step3.Presentation Let’s learn

Teach new words and phrases:visit,visit my grandparents,film,see a film,trip,take a trip,supermarket,go to the supermarket. .Let students read them after BBT again and again,then read after the teacher.Teacher explains their meanings. PPT shows some pictures about the above phrases and the sentence pattern:”--What are you going to do?--I’m going to ...” Teacher reads them according to PPT with student or teacher leads them to read together. Teach new vocabulary about time:next week,this morning,this afternoon,this evening,tonight,tomorrow. .Let them read after the tape,then read after the teacher. Teacher explains their meanings. Let students practice these phrases with the sentence pattern:”--What are you going to do...?” and read these sentences loudly together.

After that,try to practice all the above phrases we learned this class to practice with the sentence pattern:”--What are you going to do...?--I’m going to...” again and again.

Listening T:If I have a friend,she is Chen Jie, now listen carefully,then answer me a question:What is Chen Jie going to do? Play the tape,students just listen. Play the tape again,students listen,try to answer the question:She is going to see a film. Let students read after the tape.The teacher teaches these phrases and sentences,students follow the teacher. Step4.Practice Make a plan. PPT shows this plan.Teacher asks several parents with their children to act their dialogues out,then ask several students to act dialogs out in the front of classroom.

Play a game.

Ask two students and a parent to act the word cards they have out,others guess which phrase or which word.Let them relax a minute and check the vocabulary they have learned. Step5. Summary.

Summarize the key points of this lesson. Step6.Homework

Make 4 dialogs with the sentence pattern:”--What are you going to do...”
