Grammar Task 1 leading-in “动词ing形式” 做主语或宾语

1. Finding ways to grow more rice has been his life goal.

2. Dreaming for things costs nothing.

3. Spending money on himself or leading a comfortable life also means very little to him. 4. He enjoys listening to violin music, playing mah-jong, swimming and reading.

Task 2 ving 作主语

1. v-ing形式作主语，往往表示经常性，习惯性的动作。单个v-ing做主语，谓语用单数。

Reading aloud is a good way to learn a language.

大声朗读是学习语言的一种好方法。

集邮是他的爱好。

Collecting stamps is his hobby.

2. 有时避免主语太长，用

it 作形式主语，v-ing 形式放到句子后面。

v-ing形式的复合结构：由形容词性物主代词，名词所有格，加上
