学生进一步理解和掌握who、that、which、whose、as、where、why、when等关系词引导的定语从句来描述人或事物的用法。

学生能正确使用who、that、which、whose、as、where、why、when等引导的定语从句来描述人或事物并能把定语从句应用到写作中去。

通过学习，培养学生细心的观察能力、归纳总结的能力。

4 如何写出定语从句

两个涉及同一事物的简单句。

1>找出这两个简单句中都出现的同一个事物。

2>将其中一个简单句改成从句，去修饰另外一个句子中那个相同的事物（注意关系词的选用）

The girl is Mary.

We saw her yesterday. The girl who we saw yesterday is Mary. 找到简单句中的中心词，用定语从句将其丰富。

which is now spoken and used by more and more people all around the world . 5写作中定语从句的主要作用

1)增加词数（100词左右）

2)可以连接两个包含同一事物的句子，

避免单词的重复和句式单一。

3)补充细节(具体信息、原因、结果、目的等)，以丰富文章内容

6课后作业（尽量用定语从句）

假设你是红星中学高三学生李华。你的英国朋友Jim 在给你的邮件中提到他对中国历史很感兴趣，并请你介绍一位你喜欢的中国历史人物。请你给Jim回信，内容包括： 1. 该人物是谁； 2. 该人物的主要贡献； 3. 该人物对你的影响。
