一、教学目标

1.能够听懂、会说、认读一些中、西方国家的节日,如劳动节May Day、地球日World Earth Day、植树节Tree-planting Day, Teachers’Day 等专有词汇。

2.能够正确理解、朗读对话内容。

3.能够初步运用“What are you going to do on…?”“I’m / We are going to….”等句型询问和回答节日期间的活动安排。

4.能够了解国内外节日文化,整理节日信息,在节日期间做有意义的活动,合理规划活动安排,乐于与他人交流节日计划。

二、教学重难点

教学重点: 1.能够初步运用“What are you going to do on…?”“I’m/ We are going to…?”等句型询问和回答节日期间的活动安排。

2. 能够正确理解、朗读对话。

教学难点: 1.

World Earth Day 的读音对三年级学生来说较困难。

能够有条理地整理某个节日的信息,并根据实际情况,简单介绍节日的情况。

(The teacher shows the card, and leads to read the phrase.) T: There are some parts of the Great Wall in Beijing. Where are you going to visit? S: I'm going to visit the Great Wall in Mutianyu/ Badaling ... 【设计意图】通过观看视频，练习学生获取重要信息的能力，并用思维导图的形式出示板书，帮学生更加清晰的理解课文的含义和结构，为后面产出做语言逻辑的支持。

Read and act the dialogue T:Let’s listen and repeat the whole dialogue. The students read in pairs and show the dialogue. 【设计意图】以May Day/Labour Day为核心分析文本,将课文内容集中,以名称、日期、节日对象和节日活动加以概括,进一步落实谈论节日的思维方式;适帮助学生正确理解对话;适当的带读、跟读活动,帮助学生理解并正确朗读对话。

3. PPT: Game: quick response （1）Review the words of months and ordinals 【设计意图】复习月份的单词，为后面表达假期的具体时间做语言支持。

（2）Review the holiday. What holidays do you know? What’s your favourite holiday? The teacher leads to talk about holidays on aspects of “When is the holiday?”、

“Who is the holiday for?”、“What do you like to do on this holiday?”. 【设计意图】通过复习序数词，月份的单词及各节日来激活已知,唤起知识,从when、what/who、activities三个方面描述节日,不仅唤起学生的课堂兴趣,也为学习课文中劳动节的节日,以及后续活动中谈论其他节日做准备,一方面以旧识引新知,一方面初步构建谈论节日的思维方式。

4：Practice PPT: pick up one holiday and discuss in groups Introduce a holiday to the class 【设计意图】小组合作学习，每组挑选一个节日，从日期，意义，活动三个方面去介绍这个节日，并小组进行展示。创设节日活动安排的情景,以小组合作的方式促进学生自主学习、互助学习,教师加以辅助,发挥课堂的生命价值。从句到文章，逐层提高难度，力争练习层面覆盖到全班各个水平学生。
