Knowledge aims: 1、Listen、read and say the phrases of past tense, containing “rode a horse, rode a bike, went camping, hurt my foot, went fishing, ate fresh food, went swimming, took pictures, bought gifts.”

2、Listen、read and say the sentences below:

How was your weekend?

It was good/OK/fine/bad. Where did you go?

I went to Sanya. How did you go there?

I/We went there by plane. What did you do there?

I took pictures. Ability aims: 1、Can use the phrases of past tense to describe what someone did. 2、Can use the sentence patterns to talk about one’s past holidays. Emotion aims:Improve students’ interest of learning English. Step1:Warm up & Review 1、Greetings! Say hello to each other and emphasize the rule of this class. 2、Listen to a song”Tell me about your holiday.” Students stand

up and do the actions at the same time. 3、Review the phrases of past tense. 1)

Summarize the phrase by groups.Rules:Everyone participates./Help each other.(Two minutes) 2)

Play a game:Who’s the fastest? Number the students and show them the pictures, they read and see who the fastest is. Step2:Lead in(Picture method&Conversation method) 1 、Show students a few pictures of “Running man”.Talk about them and their holidays. 2、Predict the questions: 1)Where did they go over the winter holiday? 2) How did they go there? 3) What did they do? 4) How was the winter holiday? 3、Read the dialogue by students and check answers. 4、Follow to read. 5、Practice the dialogue with deskmates. Step3:Practice Act out the dialogue:Make a puppet show. Step4:Consolidation A listening exercise:Finish “Let’s check” on page30.
