Step1 Warming up 1)

Chat with students. How are you today? Can a bird fly? 2)

Sing a song: Bingo

Step 2 Leading in T：Dear students! We have learned many animals. Now let’s guess some other animals!

Ss: Great!

Step 3 Presenting

Part 1 What’s this? 1)

First, this is kind of animal who has a word ‘Wang’ on his face? And it’s also the king of all the animals. Yes! It’s a tiger!(Bring the headwear and put it on a student’s head.) Next, this animal has green eyes and it looks like a dog, but it is not in the farm. What’s this? Okay, that’s wonderful. It’s a wolf. We usually say it a big bad wolf! (Bring the headwear and put it on next student’s head.) And what’s more, there is a big animal, he or she likes honey very much. It is always black or brown. What’s this? A bear! (Bring the headwear and put it on other student’s head.) The last one, it looks very scary. It has no feet. Do you know what is it? That’s right! It’s a snake! (Bring the headwear and put it on next student’s head.) Then read the new words for students and write them on the blackboard. 2)

Game Ask the four students who have a headwear to come out and stand in a line. The rest of the students say one of the fours words in random. The student who wears the corresponding headwear stands out. Then speed up. Part 2 Let’s sing

Learn to sing a song: Big and Small Read the words for students, especially the new words. Then play the radio and sing along with the music. Part 3 Long or short? 1)

Put out two toy snakes out, one is long and the other is short. Ask one students to compare them. Then write the two words on the blackboard.

Put out one picture which is an elephant and the other is a picture with a rabbit. The teacher hide a part of the first picture with a hand, only the long nose left.

Then teacher says: Do you know what’s this?

Students say: An elephant! Teacher: How do you know this?

Students: It has a long nose! Teacher: Great! We can say its nose is long.But its tail is short. Then is the picture with a rabbit. The teacher hide a part of the picture with a hand, only the long ears left. Then teacher says: Do you know what’s this?

Students say: A rabbit! Teacher: How do you know this?

Students: It has long ears! Teacher: Great! We can say its ears are long.But its tail is short.

it’s means “它是”，its means “它的”

Tips: 选择it’s 还是its，要看句子中是否有动词

is, 如果有，则选择its, 如果没有，则选择it’s. Eg:1 It’s a duck.(句子中没有is)

Practice Make the animal card in the flowing type. The more, the better.

Draw a picture of this animal.

Step 4 Game Part 4 Let’s play! Divide students into four groups. Each group sends a representative to competes with each other. Teacher and the rest of students describe the animals and the four representatives answers them. Choose which one is the fastest.

Step 5 Summary Make a summary with students, especially the differences between it’s and its.
