Lesson 9:Eat More Vegetables and Fruit!

一、教材依据

本课的内容选自冀教版《小学英语》第八册第二单元第9课。(Lesson 9:Eat More Vegetables and Fruit!)

二、设计思路

(一)、指导思想:本节课的设计强调交际和会话,强调有意义的学习情境,强调主动性的,以学生为中心的语言活动。

(二)、设计理念:本节教学设计以学生为主体,重视语言的学习的实践性和应用性,以任务型教学为理念,教学设计面向全体、灵活开放、活动多样、体验参与,在教师的引导下,学生通过对话、交流、操练、调查等方式,掌握了新词汇及新句型,为综合语言运用奠定了坚实的基础。

(三)、教材分析:本课的内容选自冀教版小学六年级英语第八册第二单元。本单元介绍了健康的生活方式。本课以“多吃蔬菜”展开话题,使学生了解一些健康知识,养成健康的饮食习惯。

(四)、学情分析:本节课的授课对象是小学六年级的学生,经过小学三年多的英语学习,学生已具备一定的综合语言运用能力。本课内容贴近孩子们的生活,孩子们会非常乐意去参与教学活动。在本课中,教师可以鼓励学生大胆交流,充分开展小组合作学习。

三、教学目标

(一)、知识与能力:

1、能听说读写单词:vegetables, fruit, potatoes, tomatoes, day , week , month ,并会运用这些词汇。 2、能够在日常生活中,恰当地使用How often…?句型。 3、能够描述自己日常的饮食。

4、学会制作表格的基本方法,能用简单的英语表达自己的想法,并与他人进行交流,从而形成一定的口语交际能力。

(二)、方法与途径:

1、积极与他人合作,共同完成任务型阅读;

2、运用所学英语进行表达和交流。

(三)、情感与评价:

1、了解健康的生活方式,培养学生健康的饮食习惯。

2、培养良好的文化意识,用Good health to you!对他人给予健康祝福。

(四)、现代教学手段的运用

多媒体课件、图卡、录音机、耳麦

四、教学重点

1、使学生能听、说、读和写词汇: vegetables, fruit, potatoes, tomatoes, month。

2、使学生能够描述自己日常的饮食。

五、教学难点

1、能完成有关饮食的调查表。

2、能够在日常生活中,恰当的使用How often…?句型。

六、教学准备

图片、日历、录音机、词汇卡片、CAI课件、CD碟片

七、教学过程

Step 1. Warm up

1. Greetings

2. Play a game“Nose ,Nose”. Do actions to review some phrases . 3. Lead a free talk .

[设计意图:在这一环节中,通过师生之间的对话复习了前面三课学习的健康的生活方式知识,并展示了How often do you ____?的句型,同时引导学生进入到本课的话题]

Step 2. New concepts: (一)Introduce 1.利用图卡学习vegetables, fruit, potatoes, tomatoes

(1) Guess vegetables“What are these?”

[设计意图:采用图卡引出本课的新授词汇,不仅能激起学生的求知欲望,而且能培养学生英语思维能力。]

(2)Describe the vegetables . [设计意图:采用看图卡说话的形式,将新词汇放到语境中,使新词汇学以致用。强化了新词汇,又提高了语言表达能力。]

[设计意图:此环节给出的蔬菜汇总的大图,可以为学生拓展更多的蔬菜词汇,如:cabbage, peas, onions,carrots,cucumber, eggplant使学有余力的学生在语言输出阶段有更精彩的表现。]

利用词卡学习month

出示英文日历,展示Sunday---Saturday 7个单词。

T: They make a week . A week has seven days . What a week? S: Seven days make a week . T: What’s a month?

S: Four weeks make a month.

T: What’s a year?

S: Twelve months make a year.

Demonstrate “month”, read it several times.

[设计意图:通过对话交流,让学生清楚以上表示时间单词的关系。] 3、学习“How often…?句型

T: Vegetables are good for us. How often do you eat peas a day/ week/ month/ year?

S: T: How often do you ____ ?

[设计意图:通过实际操练,让学生学会恰当地使用How often…?句型。] (二)、Use The Student Book And Audiotape 1.Listen to the audiotape and look at your books. 2、Read the text. 3、Discuss (出示CAI)

T: Do you want to know about Danny? Can you ask?

S1: How often does Danny eat peas/cabbage/onions?

S2:

Ask the students to look at the screen, try to find the answers. T: Danny eats peas about twice a month. He eats cabbage once a year. He likes peas more than cabbage. I think he needs to

eat more cabbage.

T: What does a healthy body have? For healthy body, what do you need to do?

Teacher make a dialogue with a volunteer like this:

T: Hello!

S: Hello, Miss Chong !

T: How often do you eat fish?

S: Once a week.

T: How often do you eat hamburgers?

S: Three times a week. I like hamburgers more than fish.

T: I think you need to eat more fish.

S: Why?

T: Because for a healthy body, you need to eat more fish. Good health to you!

S: Thank you.

T: You’re welcome.

[设计意图:通过师生对话交流,进一步提高学生综合运用语言的能力,让学生养成良好的的饮食习惯。] 3、
