Unit 8 It’s Hot 教材分析:本节课为第八单元第二课时,教学内容是使学生会表达对天气的感受,会说冷热的感觉以及会用句型Is it hot? Yes, it is.教师应根据实际情况,扩充语言材料,扩展关于热的天气表达以及相应的建议。

1.功能目标:学会说出对天气的感受及给出相应的建议。

教学过程:
Step 1 Warming up (1)
Greeting T: Hello, boys and girls. Ss: Hello, Miss Cao. T: How are you? Ss: Fine,thank you.And you? T: I’m fine,too.

Free talk T:How’s the weather today? Ss: It’s hot. Step2: Teaching the new lesson T: Today is hot.Look at the picture, what can you see in the picture? What's the weather like? Ss: It's hot. T: Yes, there are four pictures.They are all about the weather, but the weather is different. Presentation 1) T: What's the weather like? S1:It's hot. T: Yes, hot,h–o–t, hot. S:(Repeat 3 times) T:Is it hot? S2: Yes, it is. 2) T: What's the weather like?
S1:It's cold.
T: Yes, cold,c–o–l–d, cold.
S:(Repeat 3 times)
T:Is it cold?
S2: Yes, it is . 3) Learn sunny and rainy. Pair–work: According to the pictures,make dialogues. Talk Together 1) –Is it hot? –Yes,it's very hot.(hot意为"非常") Students read after the teacher for 3 times and then the teacher translate for the students, students practice it with the partner. 2)Learn dialogue 2 Step 4 Listening A: Listen and number the pictures.Check the answers. B: Listen and check the correct answers. C: Listen and write the correct letter.Check the answers together. Step 5: Writing Write and match. Review the new words. Homework: 1.
Make the dialogue with the partner. 2.
Introduce the knowledge for parents.

Draw some pictures and then let students guess what the weather is like.
