本课的授课对象是小学六年级的学生,他们从三年级开始学习本套教材,已经对英语产生了较浓厚的兴趣,但是随着年级的上升,词汇量的加大,有些学生开始对英语产生了畏惧的思想。因此借助多媒体课件的演示,本课的教学内容也比较贴近生活,谈论学生感兴趣的话题,可以让学生提高学习兴趣。

3重点难点 1.Master the key words:.weak /slow Sentences:What can I do ?I can.... 2.Understand the sentences: We can help them to clean their homes. I can ask Mum to make cakes for them. 4教学过程 4.1 第一学时 4.1.1教学活动 活动1【导入】Step 1 Warming up问候和热身 1.Greetings. 2.Chant: Sing,sing.I can sing. Dance,dance.I can dance. Sweep,weep.I can sweep. Clean,clean.I can clean. Walk,walk.I can walk. Run,run.I can run. 【设计意图】

通过Chant与相互问侯等方式与学生交流,拉近了师生距离,消除了学生的紧张情绪,精心编排的Chant复习巩固动词,为下一步教学做铺垫。

2.Game:Do and say(Practise the words and phrases) 【设计意图】通过学生感兴趣的游戏方法操练巩固新单词与词组,课堂气氛活跃,避免枯燥的朗读,提高学生学习兴趣。

T:We can help them to carry water/get on the bus.We can help them to do many things. What else can you do for old people? Ss:…. 【设计意图】通过两人一组问答巩固新句型,进一步检测学生掌握新知的程度,并抛砖引玉,适当拓展相关词汇,达到新知与旧知融会贯通的目的,进行知识的整合,让学生有更多有效的输出。

活动3【活动】Step 3 Practice趣味操练 1.Listen to the tape of Part A and answer: T:You can do many things for old people.Now ,let’s listen carefully. What can they do for old people? a.What can Anne do for old people? b.What can Mingming do for old people? 2.Listen to the tape again and try to repeat.

3.Read after the teacher. 4.Read together.Ss read the text .The teacher explain some long and difficult sentences. 5.Read by themselves. 6. Read and act.

【设计意图】让学生不打开书听音回答问题,培养学生的听力能力,听音跟读是为了更好的模仿其语音语调,更标准的朗读,培养提高其朗读能力,跟老师读,更好的理解长而难的句子,齐读自读熟读课文,为后面的表演做准备,层层递进的朗读方式,符合小学生的认知规律。

活动4【练习】Step 4 Consolidation &

often visit our grandparents and help them do some things.We should respect the old and love the young. 【设计意图】小组讨论成立帮助老人的爱心队,写下自己能为老人做的事情,全面培养学生听说读写以及团队协作的能力,进一步巩固检测本堂课所学内容的掌握程度,让所学的知识应用于生活,并上台展示,教师总结教导学生要经常帮助老人从身边做起且付出行动,适时更好的渗透尊老爱幼的德育教育。
