Unit 4 Welcome to our party! 教学设计

一、教学内容：

本课时为英语基础模块一的第四单元第一课时，包括Lead-in和Listening and speaking中的Dialogue A两部分。具体内容为：关于天气和参加聚会人物身份的词汇；主人迎接客人、客人恰当回应的对话；在聚会上谈论天气等。

二、教学目标：

1、

学生能掌握部分关于天气和参加聚会人物身份的词汇，如party, weather, season, pleasant, snowy, rainy, windy, sunny, cloudy, foggy, host, guest. 2、

学生能掌握迎接客人及恰当回应、在聚会上谈论天气等话题的句型，如：

3. 了解party planner 的工作及party manners. 三、教学重难点

重点：学生掌握有关聚会上的名词及天气的名词。

难点：学生能掌握聚会上恰当的回应对话及谈论天气。

四、教学过程

Step 1 Lead-in 1. Game: Bomb game.

Present the word “party” in the blackboard. 2. Brainstorming What kind of parties can you think of?

Step 2 Presentation 1. Different kinds of parties. Birthday party, Christmas party, Welcome party, Graduation party, Hen party, Stag party, Garden party, Pajama party. 2. Some notes about parties. Party planner 3. Question: Which party is the most familiar? Birthday party. Then the teacher will talk about the “host” and the “guest”

with students. 4. A survey: Which is the hottest season for birthday parties?

Read and underline. 1) Students read the dialogue by themselves and then they should underline the sentences about the weather. 2) Answers three questions. 5. Activity 5. Listen and repeat.
