本课是Unit 7 On the farm第一课时教学,以农场为背景教授句型What are these/those? They’re…Are these/those…? Yes./ No.以及单词farm, pigs, cows, apples和pears.本课是本单元的核心板块,以对话的形式呈现了本课词汇、句型、日常用语和语言功能,并使学生能在真实的情境中运用重点句型进行交流。

教学目标

一、知识目标:

1.能听懂、会读、会说pig,cow。

2. 能听懂、会读、会说、会写apple,pear。

3. 能听懂、会读、会说日常用语Welcome to...What are these/those? They’re... Are these/those...? Yes./No. They’re...

二、能力目标:

1. 能正确地理解并朗读对话内容,在教师的引导和帮助下尝试复述课文内容。

2. 能初步运用本课所学的词汇和日常用语询问确认远近处的物品。

三、情感目标:

1. 培养学生学习英语的兴趣,树立学习自信心。

2. 激发学生热爱大自然的情感。

3. 培养学生相互合作的意识。

1.师:PPT 实物农场贴图。

2.生:熟悉农场词汇小组合作绘画dream farm.

教学过程

Step 1 : Greeting & Warm up

1.Greeting

T : Boys and girls. Are you ready for class?

Ss : Yes.

T : Class begins.

OK. Boys and girls, you know My name is Jenny, what’s your name? S1 : I’m XXX.

T:How are you today?

S1: I’m...

T : Nice to meet you.

S1 : Nice to meet you too.

指第二个学生问

T:Is this S1?

S2:This is....

T : Nice to meet you.

S1 : Nice to meet you too.

(介绍完两三个同学后,引出句型Welcome to my class)

If someone is visiting your school, what should you say?

If someone is visiting your house, what should you say?让学生学做有礼貌的小主人,同时操练新句型)。

(设计意图:在free talk轻松愉快的氛围内教授新句型,又能应景的操练句型,达到现学现用的目标。)

2.Sing a song

T : Do you like singing?.

Let’s sing a song together.

Ss : Ss sing the song “Farm song”

(设计意图:在唱歌时带上肢体做动作。这首歌曲曲调欢快,歌词中还包含了本课需要新授的两个单词pig,cow,同时能创设情境On the farm,为后面的教学做铺垫。)

Step 2 : Presentation

1.揭示课题

T : Do you like this song?

Who can tell me where does Bob the train go?

He goes to a....(引导学生回答farm)

T :today we’ll learn unit 7 on the farm

teach : farm ar /ɑ:/ /ɑ:/ car farm /m/ /m/ farm teach : on the farm (板书上布置栅栏和树)

T : Today we will learn “Unit 7 On the farm ”

T : Do you want to visit the farm?

Ss : Yes!

2.T:If you do well this lesson,you’ll get a ticket for the Happy Farm this weekend. Do you want it?(以发放农场门票为由,调动学生积极性,创设真实情境。)

S: Yes!

T:I went to the Happy farm yesterday. Look, is it nice?

Can you say something about the farm?

S:The farm is.....(尽量引导学生说完整的句子)

T :I bring some fruit from the farm, look, they’re in my bag. Can you guess what’s in my bag?

S : It’s a....teach :an apple.(用不同语调读,小组分读)

T : They’re apples(拿出两个苹果呈现句型)they’re=they are

T: What are these?(用实物单数向复数过度,从It’s到 they’re)

One student ask, the others answer.(让学生做课堂的小主人)

I have a chant for apples,can you read?

(设计意图:通过chant,让学生在游戏中巩固操练新句型)

3. T : Look,what’s that?(投影上呈现梨子,站在远处指)

S: It’s a pear.

T: What are those?(呈现多个梨子,教授those)

引导学生说They’re pears. 拿出实物让学生问答。

Can you make a chant for pears?(让学生模仿上一个chant,自己创造,把自主权交给学生。)

4. T : There are also some animals on the farm,let’s listen what animal is it? teach :pig pigs (拿出小猪玩偶,让学生say hello,同时操练新单词)呈现句型:Are these pigs? Yes,t.hey’re pigs.(work in pairs)

(设计意图:三年级学生注意力集中时间不长,通过小猪玩偶,吸引学生注意,能很好的操练句型,同时也大大增加了操练的趣味性。)

5.T : Let’s keep on listening.

呈现句型Are those....?

teach : those, those. What are those?

T : We need a telescope. Please hold your telescopes and say“What are those”together.

(设计意图:因为牛群在远处,这里出示一个望远镜,并让孩子作势举着望远镜看望远镜中的牛一次次变大,更能突显those表示远处,突破难点those。) T : They’re cows.

6.Play a game:Magic eyes.

Step 3 : Story Time

1.Watch and answer

T : Look, who’s he?

S :He is Liu Tao’s grandpa.

T :Yes, Liu Tao’s grandpa has a farm. Who is coming?

S:LiuTao and Mike.Let’s listen what does he say?

S : “Welcome to my farm”(listen and imitate)

2.Watch and choose

T : Let’s watch the cartoon and tell me what can you see on the farm? (让学生看完卡通后把卡片贴在黑板相应的位置上)

S : Pigs, cows, apples, pears.

(设计意图:这里可以带领学生初步感知文本,听清文中提到的动物与水果,同时让学生参与到课堂板书的设计中,做课堂的小主人。)

3.Listen and underline

T:1. Open your books and turn to P44.

2. Take out your rulers and pencils.

3. Find the questions that Mike asks.

T : Got it?

S1 :What are these?

What are those?

Are these apples?

Are those apples too?

(呈现句型并板书带读)

4.Read and match.

How do Liutao and Grandpa answer?(自读课文并连线)

Step 4 : Consolidation

1.Try to read

①Listen and repeat (注意语音语调)

② Read the dialogue in roles

2.Try to act

三人一组表演课文,加上表情和动作。

Step 4 :Production

Group work:Make your dream farm

One is farmer ,the others are visitors, try to act.

(设计意图:请学生根据自己绘画的dream farm设计对话。此处的教学让学生自己创设了情境,大大提高了兴趣,灵活运用今天所学的知识。)

Step 5:Summary

T : Today we visit grand pa’s farm.

On the farm, these are pigs and apples.

Those are cows and pears.

And we can use these sentences to ask and answer.

Step 6:Ending

T : Boys and girls,let’s enjoy some beautiful pictures .

We should love nature. Enjoy the beauty of nature.

Are you happy today?

Ss : Yes!

T : I’m glad to hear that.

Here’s your homework.

Read Story time after the tape.

(跟录音朗读课文。)

Go on drawing the happy farm and introduce the farm to your parents. (继续画开心农场并向父母介绍农场。)

(设计意图:让学生进一步巩固所学习,并能把课堂所学运用到日常生活中。)
