教学目标:

I.Language skills:

a.Enable to understand the meaning of the story.

b.Enable to read the story .

c.The students can retell the story .

d.The students can create a new story and perform it.

b.Enable to know the meaning of the words:

goalkeeper, goal,centimeter, reach, catch,teamwork

学情分析:

此节课是六年级的学生,他们经过了四年的英语学习,单词和句型的储备都达到了一定的量,但也存在了两极分化的问题,因此,我在教学难度的设计上注重了由简到繁,循序渐进,在任务设计时注重阅读能力和写作能力的双提高。重视英语作为语言的交际功能。让学生在玩中学、在学中玩、从而在轻松愉悦的环境中学习语言、运用语言。

教学重难点:

c. The students can play the story.

d.The students can create a new story and perform .

教学设计:

Ⅰ.Warm up

1.Review the words together.

2.Play a football match video.

Ⅱ.Pre-reading story

a.After the video,tell them to learn what a goalkeeper is and what he does.

b. Ask questions.

1.How many animals can you see?Who is the best in this video?

2.Who are they?

3.What are theytalking about?

Design purpose: Try to get some information about a goalkeeper.

c.Play the video of the story and come to the story.Learn the words :goalkeeper, goal,centimeter,reach,catch

Arouse the students’interest in this English class and help the students to know the meaning of these new words.

Ⅲ.While-reading story

a.Let student watch a cartoon about the story and answer questions:

Why can’t Giraffe be the goalkeeper?

Who is an excellent goalkeeper?Why?

Design purpose:

Ask a easy question to attract their attention to the story and give them much more confidence.

b.The students read the story after the teacher with emotion and actions.

c.Ask the students to read the story together.

d.Ask them to discuss in pairs.

Discuss and retell the story.

Ⅳ.After-reading story

Show some key words on PPT and ask the students to retell the story.

The dog,the deer, the zebra, the giraffe

Train the students ability in making something new out

of the things they have learned.

V. Homework

a. Read the story smoothly.

b.Try to retell the story to your parents and write it.

c.Try to create a new story and write it.
