一、Learning aims(学习目标):

(一)能听说认读单词:star, easy, look up, Internet.

(二)能听说读写句子:There was only one small building on the hill. There was no library in my old school. There were no computers or Internet in my old school.

(三)能听懂Let’s try, 完成Tick or cross.

二、Important &difficult points(重难点):

三、导学探究:

(一)Step 1.预习温故(用时5分钟)

1. Go over words of Let’s learn. 多媒体出示“打地鼠”游戏,复习单词和短语。看哪组能快速地,正确地读出。然后全班齐读并考察单词拼写:dining hall, grass, gym, …years ago, …months ago, last year, last month, Internet, time. 2. 用ago造句。 eg. There was a dog in the park five days ago.

(二)Step 2. 新课内容展示(用时15分钟)

1. 单词和句子教学

(1) 多媒体出示星星的图片 T: What are they? Ss: They are stars. 板书star并教读。T: Can

you spell star? Ss: S—T—A—R.

(2)圈出一个星座图片,T: Do you know its name? Ss: I don’t know. T: It is easy. (板书并教读easy.)We can look it up on the Internet. 板书look up, Internet讲解并教读。

(3)多媒体出示星星的图片,引出月亮moon这个单词,从而引出句子:T: I like the moon. One day I’m going to visit the moon. Who have been to the moon in 1969? The Americans took about five days to get there in 1969.(从文章中找出这句话,并快速读并记忆)

(4)出示旧学校和新学校的照片,学生说句子Ss: There was only one small building on a hill. Now there’s a new one. 齐读。

(5)出示有图书馆和没有图书馆的学校照片,学生说句子

Ss:There was no library in the school.

(6)出示有电脑和没有电脑的学校图片。T: There were no computers or Internet in my time. 注意are -- were. 学生反复读该句子。

(7) 讲解并教读句子:Tell us about your school, please. How do you know that?

2. 学生听录音,老师教读对话。

3. 学生自己读对话,回答问题:

(1) Was there a library in grandpa’s old school?

(2) What was Grandpa’s school like?

(3)When did the Americans go to the moon?

(三)Step 3.合作交流:(用时15分钟)

1. 完成Let’s try.

2. 组长组织学习 let’s talk :

(1) 自读一遍,勾出不懂的单词和句子,并回答问题。

(2) 组长带领组员翻译全文,勾出不懂单词和句子。

(3) 核对答案。

(4) 分角色朗读课文。

(5) 想像一下你的新学校,和现在的学校对比一下,运用所学的句子编对话。

(四)Step4、总结本节课所学知识:What did you learn this class?(用时2分钟)

(五)Step5、达标检测,上交(用时3分钟)
