本节课是高一年级必修四第五单元语言运用（Using Language）部分的阅读课。在之前的学习中，学生已经通过Disneyland、Dollywood、Camelot Park三个主题公园的学习，了解了主题公园的多样性和丰富性。语言运用部分的文本介绍了法国的“观测未来”科技主题公园，让学生能够在原有知识结构下，了解不同文化背景、不同类型的主题公园，拓宽视野。

本节课在文本阅读过程中兼顾主旨大意概括能力及细节信息提取能力的培养。同时，要求学生借助课本中所提供的有关“问路”的表达方法及“观测未来”科技主题公园的导览图，进行角色扮演，带领游客参观公园，让学生学会在情境中运用语言。
