学情分析及设计理念

：我所在学校是一所县城的普通高中，学生中考单科英语成绩大多数都在85分以下，甚至有的学生成绩低于60分。所以学生初中英语基础尤其薄弱，对英语的学习兴趣很低，特别是这种枯燥的语言学习课。而词汇又是英语学习的基础，没有坚实的词汇基础，英语学习就是空谈。所以必须把这种本应10 分钟就能上完的“死课”上“活”，利用多种教学活动在进而激发、调动学生学习英语兴趣的同时，夯实所学的词汇。所以，把本单元的Learning about Language分为两节课上，现在完成时的被动语态的语法学习单设一节课。

教材分析：

This period includes revision of the text、learning about language. From this period the students will learn how to use some of the key words and expressions in the text and do some exercises for consolidation. Teaching goals

Knowledge and ability ：

1.Help the students to learn to use some useful words and expression and consolidate words and expressions of this part . 2.Enable the students to use words according to English explanation , thus Improving the students’

thinking ability in English further. 2.Procedure and methods : reading , speaking , writing ,individual work and group work.

3.Feelings , attitude and value : Inspire the students to learn from the author of my story to find their interest , develop the interest, have dreams , stick to the dreams and work hard for the dreams .So at last they can fine an idol job and live a happy and meaningful life

in the future . Teaching important point : How to use words and expressions correctly. Teaching difficult point : How to write a story in time order. Teaching

1. Task-based learning. 2. Cooperative learning. Teaching Procedures：

Step 1 Competitions Task 1 Revision words and Expressions Divide the students into three groups and ask each group to tell the part of speech and Chinese meaning of each group. (One word, one point ) .The six words belong to the questions that the students must answer. Four expressions belong to the questions that the students volunteered to answer . Task 2 Part one on page 20. This part was the homework for last class . Call three students

from the three groups to write their answers , and the other students check answers with each other .Check answers one by one and give some necessary explanations .( one word , one point )

Task 3 Word puzzle Guess what it is according to the description . The first three belong to the questions that the students must answer. And the last two belong to the questions that the students volunteered to answer . ( one word , one point )

Step 2 Part on page 20 First, give the students three minutes to complete the passage with the words below, paying attention to blue words .Then, ask two students to share their answers . Next , check answers with all the students and give some necessary explanations . Finally, ask one student to translate the whole passage into Chinese . Step 3 part 3 on page 20 First, ask the students to read each sentence together and ask one student to translate it into Chinese .Then , the teacher lead the students to notice blue words and red words and give some necessary explanations . Next, summarize the common of red words ,and inspire the students to learn from the author to find their interests , develop the interests, have dreams , stick to the

dreams and work hard for the dreams .So they can find an ideal job and live a happy and meaningful life in the future . Finally , ask the students to write “your story”

：

为了更好的完成教学任务和激发学生的学习积极性，我把基础词汇部分设计了比赛的形式，所以，这节课的Step 1 学生学习热情很高，且课堂气氛特别欢快。相比较而言Step 2 环节，到了学生学习的难点，学习积极性稍差。Step 3环节是一个比较简单的故事，学生的热情似乎重燃，特别是，翻译句子时，学生发言积极性特别高。以后这类语言课的设计必须把“死课”“活上”。
