教材分析

Learning about language部分由词汇和语法两部分组合。词汇部分练习1是一个含11个空的语篇，要求学生用课文中出现的生词填空。练习2也是一个语篇题，内容是关于澳大利亚早期移民的艰苦生活。这个联系要求学生首先阅读短文，看看其中划线单词是否认识，如果认识，就将其定义写在“定义”一栏中;如果不认识，也不要着急查字典，先危险试着猜一猜它的意思，并写在“你的释义”一栏讨论中。最后，再查英英词典，将你不认识的单词定义写在“定义”一栏中。这项练习包含了两种重要的词汇学习策略：1）根据上下文猜测生词的活动意思；2）用英语给英语单词下定义。练习3也包含了一种重要的词汇学习策略，即“学一个记一串”，以一个单词为中心，衍生出与之相关的合成词和派生词。这个练习给予学在这生充分的联想空间，既巩固了课文生词，又复习了的旧识词，还通过同伴之间的互相交流认识了更多的生词，一举多得。语法部分复习的重点是“表语”。三个练习所用的语篇虽然不同，但任学生务是一样的，都是要求学生辨认表语的各种形式。

学情分析

本课的授课对象是高三学生，本班学生英语基础较为扎实，学习态度较为认真，不过学生的英语基础存在个体差异，但整体上经过高中两年的英语学习，已经具备一定的学习词汇和语法基础。但选修9相对其他几本书来说难度增加，因此如何熟悉并运用本单元词汇和语法需要具体指导和练习。

Feedback The design of this lesson is based on the Task-based learning Approach. While, after a lot of practice, I realize that some students are still confused to identify the components of sentence, which leads to misunderstanding of predicative clauses and making mistakes especially in the final project in composing a poem about their school life. So I will make efforts to instruct in dividing the components of sentence via the important parts of text in order to contribute to mastering the grammar. In order to better raise students’

interest in learning English and improve their integrating abilities it’s important to make sure all the students take a more active part in the tasks and become more confident.
