教学目标

一.知识目标：

(1) get the Ss to learn the useful new words and expression in this part：

Rare, valuable, survive, vase, dynasty, amaze, select, honey, design, fancy, style, decorate, jewel, artist, belong, troop, reception等单词和词

组in search of, belong to, in return, at war, less than (2)让学生了解琥珀屋的相关历史

二.能力目标：

(1)提高学生的阅读能力并学会运用相关的阅读技能. (2)让学生能够运用相关的短语，句型讨论文化遗产

三.情感目标：

（1）提高文化遗产保护意识

（2）提高学生的合作性学习意识

2学情分析

学生英语基础差，单词量少。不能将所学的相关阅读技巧运动到阅读中，阅读速度慢且解题技巧差

活动1【讲授】unit 1 Cultural Relics

Step1.Warming Up Warming up by looking and talking 通过图片展示国内外的一些文化遗迹：the Great Wall，Taj Mahal, a Ming Dynasty Vase, ivory dragon boat, Oracle bones。让学生理解到文化遗产的特点，以及文化遗迹不仅仅只是建筑，还可以是一些物品，音乐等。

Warming up by defining 让学生总结出cultural relics 的共同点-----定义

Step 2.Pre-reading show some pictures of ambers to the Ss and let them imagine how a house which was made of amber looks like? 展示琥珀屋的图片，让学生透过图片了解琥珀屋的壮观奢华。

Read the title “In Search of the Amber Room” and predict (预测) what the passage is mainly about? In search of — missing — history — rebuilding让学生预测课文的同时，结合琥珀屋一定的背景知识。

Step3. While-reading Fast-reading Let the Ss read the passage quickly and do the match (2)让学生迅速划出相关的时间。
