Book 2 Unit 1 Cultural Relics词汇课

教材分析：本堂词汇课，课标要求学生掌握并扩展与文化遗址有关的词汇，本节内容旨在一方面扩展词汇量，一方面提升学生了解文化遗址的兴趣和学生保护文化遗址的意识。学完本节内容，首先是帮助学生学习更多有关文化遗址的知识；其次是增加与本单元主题相关的词汇。

学情分析：

1.学习任务分析：本单元的中心话题是文化遗址，学生对此概念有些模糊，内容也涉及一些学生没有见识过的事物，在词汇课部分，适当扩展词汇与文化遗址之间的联系，可以使课堂更紧凑，内容更连贯。

2.学习者分析:授课学生大部分是来自农村的孩子，本单元所选的文化遗址话题对于他们来讲有点抽象，所以学习本单元有一定的难度。

设计理念：

1.重视共同基础，构建发展平台2.提供多样选择，适应个性要求3.优化学习方式，提高自主能力4.关注学生情感，提高人文素养5.完善评价依稀，促进学生发展

教学目标：

1.帮助学生学习更多有关文化遗址的知识；

2. 增加与本单元主题相关的词汇。

教学重点：

1.Learn some new words and expressions about Cultural Relics。

2. Train the students’ ability to cooperate with others. 教学难点：

1．Words: survive, design, fancy, belong, remove, doubt, 2. Phrases: in search of, belong to, in return, at war. 教学方法: multimedia-teaching, individual and group work. 教学用具: PPT ,computer, pictures 教学过程

Step 1 Lead- in Activity 1: Guessing game

T: Something that has survived for a long time, often a part of something old that has remained when the rest of it has been destroyed; it tells people about the past. Can you guess what is it? (Ss guess) Then teacher give the answer: Cultural Relics; show some pictures about cultural relics to Ss. And then tell Ss that they will learn some new words about cultural relics. [设计思路]本活动旨在引出话题，激发学生学习有关文化遗址的兴趣。观看各种各样相关的图片既有助于满足和激发学生的好奇心，又能学生开阔学生视野。

Step 2 Vocabulary learning Activity 2：Ss’ group work (1) Find in the vocabulary list of this unit some adjectives which can be used to describe cultural relics. ( rare, valuable, amazing, fancy, wooden, former,) (2)Find some nouns which refer to cultural relics. (vase, jewel, painting, castle) (3) Find some verbs which refer to building or taking apart of cultural relics. (survive, select, design, remove,) Activity 3：Ss read the words after teacher and then read them by themselves. ( Race: which group can read the words better?) Exercise: Ss finish the exercise one on P3. [设计思路] 本活动属于集体活动,让学生增强集体主义意识，目的在于能让学生更好的理解词的分类和词性的不同作用，并且能够理解大声朗读在英语学习中的作用。

教学反思: 本课设计了若干情景与活动，旨在让学生积极参与学习活动，在活动中学习。

1. 针对所设定的每节课的目的都应该有所侧重，不能平分时间，

“热身”活动轻轻带过，做到课堂重点突出。

2. 课前做了大量的资料收集和整理，有选择的在教学中有效地使用图片和视频，大大提高了学生对学习的兴趣。同时降低了教学的难度和枯燥性。

3. 不抛弃传统的任务型教法。

4. 对于普通班的学生来讲，一节课要接受那么多的新单词是很困难的，可能练习设计的还是比较少，并且趣味性还是不够。
