【教学目标】

知识目标：

1. 能听懂、会说、会读、会写单词eye, ear, big, small, his, her, long, short。

2. 能听懂、会说、会读单词hair, nose, mouth, king。

3. 能听懂、会说、会读、会写日常交际用语He’s/She’s … . His/Her …

is/are …. 4. 能够理解Story time 内容，能够模仿朗读。

5. 能用本课所学句型描述人物的外貌特征。

能力目标：

1. 通过看图、听录音和阅读等方式学习文本，把握文章的主要内容。

2. 通过合作探究，提高学生英语语言的思维能力和交际能力。

情感目标：

1. 能够唤起学生的童心，激发他们对洋娃娃的喜爱之情。

2. 能够让学生明白一个人的外貌如何并不重要，因为自己是最独一无二的。

Step 1 Warming up and revision (2 mins) 1.

Show Ss“What to learn” and “how to learn” ( 1 min) What to learn？

1) I can say the new words “eyes, ears, nose, mouth, hair, big, small, long, short ”and the new sentences: “His/ Her...is/ are... .”

我能说出新单词、新句型。

When you are listening, you should pay attention to the words that are related to facial features. Step 2 Pre-reading ( 10 mins) 1.

教学单词eyes, ears, mouth, nose, hair和big, small, long, short( 4 mins) T: We see with our _______. （PPT呈现）

Ss: eyes Ss学习单词eyes，齐读，拼读。

T: Look at the eyes. Big or small？

Ss: big Ss学习单词big, small, 齐读，拼读。

Ss: ears Ss学习单词ears，齐读，拼读。

T: Look at the ears. Big ears or small ears？

Ss: mouth Ss学习单词mouth, 齐读，注意th的发音，开火车读。

教学句型His … is/ are …. ( 2 mins) T: Do you know him？（刚才的五官组合起来，变成大头儿子）

Ss: … . T: Can you describe him？You can use “His … is/ are ….”

Ss学习单词his，齐读，拼读。

教师呈现提示1：主语单数或不可数，be动词用is；主语复数，be动词用are。

T: For example, his eyes are big. Now it’s your turn. Ss看着PPT上的提示进行描述。

Ss：His ears are small. His mouth is small. His nose is small.

His hair is short. 3.

教学句型Her …is/ are …. ( 2 mins) T: （围裙妈妈图片）This is his _________. Ss: mother T: Look at them. They look alike. His eyes are big.（图片上指出大头儿子的眼睛）

Her eyes are big, too.（图片上指出围裙妈妈的眼睛）

Ss学习单词her，齐读，拼读。

教师拿出围裙妈妈，学生说围裙妈妈的特征。例如：

Ss: Her nose is small. T: Do you like the two dolls？

Ss: Yes. T: Today we will learn Unit 8 Dolls. Ss朗读课题Unit 8 Dolls。

Play a game：Magic eyes (2 mins) 看一看，说一说：观察图中会动的那个五官，说说它的特点哦！注意一定要先观察好再举手哦！

教师播放描述女娃娃的听力，学生选择。核对答案时，教师播放听力再次核实，并且贴上板书long, big, small, small。

T：Can you describe the girls’ doll？（一个人描述）

Ss: Her hair is long. Her eyes are big. Her nose is small. Her mouth is small. T: Her nose is small. Her mouth is small. So we can say “Her nose is small. Her mouth is small, __________.”

Ss：too T: We can also say“Her________and _________are small.”

Ss: Her nose and mouth are small. 教师呈现提示2:当表示两个相同的特点时，我们可以用and或

too来连接。

T: Look at the girl doll.（各部分拼接在一起）

Read and choose ( 2 mins) T: The girls have a girl doll. The boys have a boy doll. Read the descriptions of the boy doll. Ss阅读关于男娃娃的描述，然后选择合适的男娃娃。

T: Look at the boy! He has a crown.（点击PPT，戴上皇冠。）He’s a king. Ss学习单词king,齐读，用单词sing来对比学习。

Ss: He’s cool! T: He’s a king. They are kings, too. （PPT呈现美猴王和狮子王）

Ss学习Monkey King和Lion king。

T: Please use your own sentences to describe the boy doll. Ss看提示进行描述：

differences？

Ss找出单词but，教师说明第三点提示：当表示两个相反的特点时，我们可以用but来连接。
