Step 1 Greeting & Warm up

T: Do you like purple grapes?

S: Yes, I do.

T: I bring some grapes;let’s count,OK?

Step 2 Presentation

1. New numbers

T: You counted very well. Now, look! I add one grape, How many grapes? S1: Thirteen.

T: Right. Please read after me. Thirteen.

S: Thirteen.

2. Read the numbers

T: Let’s read the three numbers together.

S: (跟读)

T:Actually I bring more than fifteen grapes, if you want to know the number of my grapes, how do you ask?

S: How many?揭题

Step 3 Story time

1. Look and choose

T: I’ve got some stickers today. One of our friends has some, too. Look at this picture. How many children are there in the dialogue? S: D(four)

2. Watch and answer

T: Where are they? (PPT播放课文动画)

S: At Mike’s home.

3. Listen and fill

T: Let’s listen to the story again. Please try to fill in the blanks. What does Mike have? How many?

4. Read the story
