Presentation Play a game: Show me the numbers.

Make conversations about time. Be able to understand and say out the words (eleven, twelve, twenty, thirty, forty, fifty) under proper situations. We have learned some numbers before, today we are going to learn more numbers. Please try to say and show me the numbers with your hands. 1. Teacher draws the clock and let students guess. T: I have got something here. It has a big round face and two hands. What is it?

Ss: 闹钟。

T: Yes. How to say 闹钟？

It’s a clock.

Teach the word clock, read and repeat.

2. T: What can the clock show us?

Ss: …

T: What time is it?

Ss: One./Two./Three….

3. Show the main scene and let students get to know the new contents. 4. Teach the new words with word cards and sentences. What time is it? It’s 11:00. Eleven, eleven.

5. Lead the students to read the new words at least 3 times. 6. Play a game to consolidate the new words: Low voice

and high voice. 7. First read the new words in groups and then pick someone to read. 8. Word flash: Look at the words and say them out quickly. 9. Teach the sentence structure “It’s…”,
