Teaching Aims: 1、知识与技能目标:能正确认读Unit 9 B部分的单词,能在练习中正确运用“A + is + 比较级
.”和“A is the + 最高级.”比较两个或者三个事物的特征,能总结形容词构成比较级和最高级的规则。
2、过程与方法目标:学生通过归纳了解并掌握形容词或副词比较级的构成与基本用法,再以进阶练习的巩固与合作探究,了解比较级在生活中的比较应用。
3、情感、态度、价值观目标:在教学中通过用比较级进行比对,让学生了解相互的差异,并学会用发展、比较的眼光看待身边的事物。
Teaching Focus&Difficulties: 1、正确运用比较级和最高级的句型。
2、掌握形容词比较级和最高级的变化规则,正确使用形容词比较级和最高级的句子对身边的人和物进行比较。
Teaching Methods: 多媒体辅助教学法、任务型教学法、TPR(全身反应法)、活动教学法

Free talk. T:Hello,I am your new English teacher today.You can call me Miss Guo,or you can call me Sophie.Nice to meet you. Ss:Nice to meet you,too. T:How are you today? Ss:I am fine,thank you.And you? T:I am fine,too.Thank you. Step 2 Lead in T:Before our class,let’s see a picture.Do you know them? T:Great.They are from a famous cartoon.This is the Small-head father,he is the Big-head son,she is his mother.由身体部位名词(head和arm)引入新课,根据三个人身体特征引入并板书出五个形容词(big,small,tall,short,long.)。
Step 3 Presentation 根据图片学习五组形容词的比较级和最高级,强调形容词比较级和最高级的构成以及读音。在教授过程中注意带读单词,个人读,小组读,男生女生读,齐读。
活动一:摆一摆
教授完五组形容词的比较级和最高级之后,请两个同学分别将词卡贴在黑板上相应的位置。
活动二:Let’s chant(每组词都配上相应动作)

longest Work in pairs and then act out. 活动三:Game:Which one is missing? If you know the answer,stand up and just tell me. Step 4 Practice and Consolidation T:Look at them,what are they? Ss: A dog and a tiger. T: Which one is bigger/smaller? Ss: The tiger is bigger./The cat is smaller. 接下来再比较dog和bee,再次复习比较级句型。然后将tiger,dog和bee一起比较教授最高级的句型,要强调最高级前的the不能省略。
利用小猪佩奇一家操练tall和short的比较级和最高级句型;利用铅笔,钢笔和尺子来操练long和short的比较级和最高级句型,引导学生表述完整的句子,反复强调最高级前要加上the。
活动四:Mysterious Gifts.神秘的礼物。
每次两个学生上台抽取礼物,然后用My _____ is 比较级.来描述自己抽到的礼物,老师可先选一名学生先做示范。

your gift.But I want the gift too,so first I will invite one of you to pick gift with me.Who wants to try? T: Oh,I have a pen,and my pen is longer.How about you? S:I have a ruler,my ruler is shorter. Step 5 Homework (结束本堂课的一个引子)Watch a video,then let the student find the answer in the video. T:We have learned so many adjectives,can you write their comparative and superlative words?I have some assignments for you.You can find the answers in the video.We will find out the answers the next class.So much for today.See you next time.Bye!
