Step 1. Lead-in

Show some pictures about the 2014 World Cup and a video of androids’

playing football to the students and inspire them to imagine the android that can play football. This will lead to the reading of this passage.

Students are divided into groups of four and they act as the role of designer, programmer, engineer and spokesperson: Designer: to design the appearance and size. (You are required to draw a simple
