Step 1. Let’s sing (课前热身，让学生有英语学习的氛围) T: Boys and girls, nice to meet you. Welcome to my English class. (用问候的日常用语进行互相问候，师生熟悉彼此，并且进入英语学习的状态并让学生感知Welcome to...的读音和用法）

T: Let’s sing a song. Then ask questions: 1.What’s the song about?

2.Where are the pigs?

Teach the new words: pig, farm. 开火车带拼读。

Step 2. Let’s learn 1. Look and say

T: (1)Who are they?(Mike, LT and LT’s grandpa)

(2)Whose farm is it?(Grandpa’s )

How does grandpa greet to them? 2. Listen and circle

T: Listen to the tape and try to find out the animals on the farm. Look, that is a pig. And they’re pigs.(教pigs--they’re pigs--they’re=they are)

同样教授(cake, how--cow) (This/That is a cow. They’re cows) 3. Read and underline T: Please open your books and underline the sentences about how to

find the pigs and cows. 教授句型What are these/those?

Then chant together. 4. Watch and choose T: Watch the cartoon and try to find out the fruit on the farm. Look, what’s this?(教This/ That is an apple)What are they?(They’re apples.) What’s this?(教This/ That is a pear.)How about these?(They’re pears.) T: What can you find about these nouns? Tip:英语名词有单数和复数之分。一般来说,名词单数变成复数,直接在后面加S。

5. Read and underline T: Please open your books and underline the sentences about how to

find the apples and pears. 教授句型

T: What's the difference between these and those?

Tip:

these 这些，是this的复数,指距离较近的人或事物；

those 那些，是that的复数,指距离较远的人或事物；
