一、教材和内容分析：

本课是冀教版小学英语三年级下册第一单元第五课。本课主要让学生学习介词in, on, under和名词box。能灵活运用介词词组in the box, on the box, under the box和句型Where is...? It’s ...来表达“在哪儿”。鼓励学生使用所学内容回答问题，并在此基础上表演对话，充分练习学生的语言表达能力和综合运用能力。。

二、教学目标：

1、能听懂、会说、认读并拼写in, on, under和box。

2、能够掌握并运用句型

Where is the ___? It’s in/on/under ___.和句子What’s in the box? It’s a/an ___. 三、教学重难点

1、教学重点：

能听懂、会说、认读表示方位词的单词：in, on, under.

2、教学难点：

询问物品或动物的地点，并做回答。

四、教学过程：

Step1: Greeting and Review T:（出示布偶小猫）What’s it ?

Ss: Cat.

T: Can a cat fly?

Ss: No, it can’t. T: What animals can fly?

Ss: Birds can fly.

Step2: New Concepts T: (教师把小猫放在盒子里) Where is the cat? 教授where的含义，where哪里，引出例句Where is the ___?兔子在哪里？

Ss: 小猫在盒子里面。

T: 教授单词盒子box, 领读并拼读。教授单词in 在里面，短语in the box. 并板书

It’s in the box. 采用小组读、齐读的形式。

以同样的方式教授on在上面和under在下面。

Step3: Practice T: (教师把书放在书桌上)Where is the book?

Ss: It’s on the desk.

要求学生运用句型Where is the ___? It's ___.借助自己的文具，随意将它们进行摆放，练习方位介词的使用，并表演。

Step4: What’s in the box?

T: What’s in the box? Ss: An animal. T: Is it a ___?

Ss: No, it isn’t./ Yes, it is.

T: Can it ___?

Ss: Yes,it can.

T: Oh, I see! It’s a ___.

利用师生对话完成第三部分学习，既巩固了方位词的学习，又将本单元重点知识融合在一起。让学生做对话练习，然后找学生表演。
