一、教学内容:4A Unit 8 Dolls: Story time

二、教学目标:

1. 知识目标

(1)能听、说、读单词eyes, ears, mouth, nose, hair,his,her, big, small, long和short。

(2)能听、说、读句型He’s/She’s…His/Her …is/are…。

2. 技能目标

(1)能正确使用句型He’s/She’s…His/Her …is/are…描述人物外貌。

(2)能用正确的语音语调朗读课文,并表演课文。

3. 情意目标

学生能懂得悦纳自我,并敢于展示自我。

三、教学重点、难点:

重点:单词hair, his,her, long和short及句型He’s/She’s…His/Her …is/are…. 难点:单词his与her的用法区别及句型His/Her …is/are…的正确运用。

四、教学具准备:多媒体课件、单词及句型板书、dolls图片等

五、教学过程:

课前播放歌曲:《Funny face》

Step 1 Pre-reading

1. T: Look at me, boys and girls. Who’s your English teacher today? Yes, it’s me. Do you know my name? Can you read my name? So you can call me Miss Li. Hello, boys and girls!

T: Today Miss Li will have an English lesson together with you. Now let’s have a look at our goals today.

2. T:I like playing games. Do you like playing games? Now let’s play a game: Magic eyes. PPT快速闪过mouth, ears, nose, eyes图片,学生齐答。

3.师指向PPT上刚才闪过的mouth, ears, nose, eyes图片,请学生形容它们共同的特点big,出示单词big,领读,请几生配动作读。指向另一栏小的mouth, ears, nose, eyes图片,引出small,领读,配动作读,齐读。

4. T: They can make different faces. Look, here’s a picture of my doll. Do you want to what she is like? Listen to her self introduction carefully.

Ss: 听录音,记住所听到的洋娃娃的面部特征。

T: Now can you describe my doll?This word may help you. 出示her,领读,开火车读。

S: 用Her eyes are ---./ Her nose is ---./ ---来描述,师操作PPT,根据学生的回答呈现相应部位,但没有头发。

5. T: Look at the doll. Is she beautiful?Why?

S: 她没有头发。

PPT呈现一长一短头发,出示chair, 教学hair, long, short.

再让学生运用句型Her hair is ---选一选该娃娃的头发是怎样的,最后呈现完整图片。T: Now, is she beautiful? Ss: Yes!

6. T: This is one of my dolls. I have many dolls. (PPT出示图片) Do you like dolls? Today lets learn Unit 8 Dolls.揭题,生齐读。

Step 2 While-reading:

1.T: Today some children are talking about dolls, too. Look at the pictures carefully and try to answer:

Q1:Who are the children?

Q2: Where are they?

Q3: How many dolls do they have?

PPT快速逐一呈现课文中的4副图片,然后引导学生回答上述问题。

2. T: They have two dolls, one is a girl doll, the other is a boy doll. PPT出示没有五官的两个doll图片。We know the girl doll is Su Hai and Yang Ling’s, and the boy doll is Wang Bing and Liu Tao’s. Now can you say?

PPT出示:Su Hai, Yang Ling, Wang Bing and Liu Tao are in the__________. They have ____ dolls. Su Hai and Yang Ling have a ______ doll. Wang Bing and Liu Tao have a _______ doll.

Ss: 齐说。

3. T: What’s Su Hai and Yang Ling’s doll like? Let’s watch the cartoon and answer: Her hair is _____.

Her eyes are ____.

Her nose is _____.

Her mouth is _____.

Ss: 观看课文左半部分动画,并回答。PPT跟据学生回答,呈现相应图片,并出示板书,将Her nose and mouth are small.合并为一句。显示完整图片后,师引导学生说一说:She’s _______________.

4. Ss: 逐句跟读左半部分对话。

5. T: Now we know Su Hai and Yang Ling’s doll is a girl. She’s beautiful. How about Wang Bing and Liu Tao’s ? How do they describe their doll? Do they use the word ‘her’? Scan the right part of the dialogue and find the answer.

S: His.

T: 出示单词his,领读,生开火车读。

T: What’s the difference between ‘his’ and ‘her’?

学生交流后,PPT呈现:当我们描述女孩时,我们应该用her;当我们描述男孩时,我们应该用his。

6. T: Look, here are three pictures of the boy dolls. Which doll is theirs? 出示Tip:轻声自读课文右半部分对话,画出关键词,如

T: Which doll do you choose? Why don’t you choose A or C? Let’s see the details of the doll together.

T: What’s the boy doll’s hair like?

S: His hair is short. (师出示板书)

T: How about his eyes?

S: His eyes are small.

T: So which picture is wrong? 图片C飞出。

T: How about his nose?

S: His nose is small.

T: Yes, his eyes and nose are small. 出示板书。Then how about his mouth? S: His mouth is big.

T: So A is wrong. 图片A飞出。

T: How about his ears?

S: His ears are big, too.

7. T: Look, what’s happen to the doll? PPT呈现一个皇冠飞入并戴在其头上。He’s a king now.领读king,并拓展Monkey King, Lion King。

8. T: Look at their doll.

S: He’s ________.进行描述。

9. Ss: 跟读右半部分对话。

10. T: Now let’s watch the whole cartoon and try to learn from them: The way they describe and praise each other’s dolls and their pronunciation and intonation. Ss: 完整地观看动画。

11. T:Now it’s your turn to imitate. Ss: 跟着录音轻声齐读。

12. T: Now let’s act the dialogue. PPT出示相应要求:.以四人小组为单位,分角色扮演;在表演时,注意重读连读;要有感情,并可自配动作哦。

Ss: 分组练习,然后请2组同学上前戴头饰表演。

13. T: Now can you look at the blackboard design and retell the dialogue? Have a try! S: 同桌两人尝试看板书复述,然后请2名学生上黑板前介绍。

Step 3 Post-reading:

1. T:They showed their dolls to each other. Now it’s our turn to show our designed dolls. Can you say some useful centences when we show our dolls? PPT呈现: A: Look at my ---./ This is my---.

B: He’s/ She’s ---.

A: His/ Her--- is/ are ---.

He/ She can ---.

I like it very much.

2. T: My students showed their dolls to each other, too. Let’s see.播放自己班中学生展示dolls的视频,作为示范。

3. Ss: Practise in pairs. 请2-3名学生展示。

4. T: Let’s come back to our goals today. 5. T: Everyone is good today. Though maybe your eyes are small, like Lv Yan(出示吕燕照片),maybe your mouth is big, like Yao Chen(出示姚晨照片),maybe your ears are big, like Ge You(出示葛优照片), maybe your nose is big, like Cheng Long(出示成龙照片),but you are still that lovely you. Because everyone is unique! Just be yourself and show yourself!
