一、教材分析

本课是外研社新标准英语（一起）六年级下册M1U1 I want a hot dog,please.。本册的故事情节大背景是Daming Simon和Simom的爸爸一起在快餐店点餐。Daming 看到热狗觉得好奇，问Simon那是什么，Simon解释说那不是狗，是一种食物，并指着热狗的图片让他看。Daming觉得看上去不错，就点了一份。Simon和爸爸点了汉堡包，三人还点了三份可乐。随后，Daming自告奋勇端餐盘，却不小心把可乐洒到了Simon 的新裤子上。六年级上、下册都是对学生已有语言知识的巩固、强化与适当拓展。因此，教师应注重在复习已有语言知识的基础上为学生提供更多练习和运用语言的机会。

二、学情分析

六年级的学生对于一般现在时并不陌生。本模块通过创设真实的情景，帮助学生复习一般现在时态的用法，同时通过拓展练习帮助学生在真实语境中运用语言。

三、教学目标

1. 语言技能

（1）听：全体学生能够听懂

六、教学过程

（一）复习导入Warm-up and lead in（3分钟）

Talk about the topic “What did you eat during the winter holiday ?”

【设计意图】寒假刚刚结束，新学期伊始，以寒假为切入点，谈论寒假吃过的好吃的东西，自然贴近学生生活。

3. Lead in Show some pictures of fast food on the PPT.

【设计意图】开学初第一节课，通过谈论寒假吃过的好吃的食物，使学生自然进入到英语

课堂环境中，并引出本模块餐厅点餐的话题。

（二）任务呈现Task presentation（

3 分钟）

1. The task a. The teacher shows several pictures of fast food. b. Ask the students “What do you want ?”. 【设计意图】

出示食物的图片，询问学生想要哪一个，为下一步的教学做好铺垫。

2. Listen and say

a. Watch the video of Activity 1 and say it.

b. Answer the question “What does Simon want?”.

c. Try to act out the text. 【设计意图】在前一环节后展示出与本课内容相关的食物图片，自然地导入本课话题，使学生自然地接受新知。

（三）课文学习Text learning（

1. Watch and answer.

a. General questions:

“Where are Daming , Simon and Simon’s dad ?”

b. Watch the video of Activity 2 and answer the general question. 【设计意图】在这一环节，先呈现一个问题，然后播放动画，让学生带着问题初步感知课文，在回答问题的过程中，学生已经能在问题的帮助下大致了解了课文内容。这一环节的问题，是针对学生对课文总体理解能力而设计的。

2. Read and answer.

Detail questions: (1) What does Daming want ?

(2) Is the hot dog a real dog ?

(3) What do Simon and his dad want ?

(4) What do they want to drink ?

(5) How much is their meal ?

The teacher explains the expression of “hot dog” when raising the first detail question.

Read by the students themselves and find the answers.

The teacher checks the answers.

【设计意图】前一环节中，学生已经整体感知了课文。本环节的问题设计是为了引导学生从细节上理解文章内容，共设计了5个细节问题。教师呈现问题后，就第一个问题中的hot dog 进行讲解。要求学生通过自读课文批画答案。在第一个细节问题中，首先询问学生，Daming 想吃什么，第二个问题继续追问热狗是否是真正的狗，培养学生的逻辑思维能力和善于思考的好习惯。在回答第五个细节问题时，引导学生认识美元和美分，理解中外文化的差异性。这五个细节问题的设计，具有内在的连贯性和完整性。

Fill in the blanks of the text retelling. 【设计意图】通过重现课文重点单词和句子，如hot dog, cent, enjoy等，巩固所学语言知识；通过对课文进行复述，进一步理解课文内容并为学生下一步进行拓展练习做好铺垫。
