T and Ss say a chant(PPT) together(clap hands): I like coffee, (设计意图：课前教师和学生一起拍手唱小歌谣，为上课营造一个轻松愉悦的氛围, 使孩子们能够更好地上好这节课。)

Step2: New lesson 1.

( PPT) Ss look at the pictures, T: What’s it about? T and the Ss say out: the Spring Festival,

to learn the word: festival .Ss read after the T and then read it one by one.

T will say: the Spring Festival is Chinese New Year. Ss learn : Chinese

New Year.

Ss follow the T: Chinese_ We are Chinese. We are from China.

T: How many months are there in a year? Ss: Twelve 2. Say a chant together(part1) PPT show （设计意图：课件展示给学生一个视觉的感受，初步了解春节这个词汇，进一步解释，它就是中国的新年，使学生理解和掌握这两个新词，为了巩固我与孩子们一起唱歌谣很自然地完成了教材中的活动1）

3. T: What do you do at the Spring Festival? ( ask Ss to talk about it) Yes, We have a big family dinner at the Spring Festival. So today We’ll learn Module 10 Unit1 We have a big family dinner.( T write the title on the bd) Ss read the title together. To read the new words: family: We are in Class…Grade…,we are in a big family. We are going to eat meat for dinner. It’s very delicious. 4.Ss look at the picture again and talk about the activities at the Spring Festival to learn: peanut( T draw a picture on the bd to help Ss understand the word)

5.Practise Ss talk about : At the Spring Festival, we have…..( to finish part4) （设计意图：为了让孩子更好地掌握春节的活动，让孩子们讨论春节时我们还吃哪些食物，这样就用到了我们以前学习过的词汇，既巩固了新知又对过去知识进行很好的复习。）

6. Learn the text: Ss listen to the tape and follow, read after the T, Ss read it in different roles . （设计意图：在这个环节中我主要锻炼孩子的朗读，通过全班同学的参与，加强读的训练，提高朗读能力）

Step3: Consolidation 1.

PPT show other festivals: the Dragon Boat Festival, Children’s Day, the Mid_Autumn Day( divide four groups ,each group talks about a festival) and ask Ss to give the answers 2.

Talking later ask Ss to write down on the paper:

（设计意图：这个环节就是知识的延伸，通过春节的活动延伸到其他的重要节日，也都是孩子们感兴趣的节日，先小组讨论，然后进行表达，最后落实到纸上，既锻炼了学生的表达能力，又锻炼了孩子的书写能力）
