教学重、难点:能够运用介词on in under 来正确表达动物在什么地方。教具:多媒体,课件,动物图片,盒子

教学过程:

Step 1. Warm up

Greetings: T: Good morning, boys and girls! S: Good morning, Miss Zhou! Review: Today, some students take us many pictures of animals. Who wants to show your picture?

(A 走到讲台展示动物卡片)A: What’s this?

S: It’s a __________.

A: Can it swim?

S: Yes, it is./ No, it isn’t.

(B走到讲台先让大家猜猜再展示动物卡片) B: It can say “Quack,quack.”

What’s this?

S: It’s a ___________.

(C 走到讲台展示动物卡片)C: Is it a cat?

S: Yes, it is./ No, it isn’t. It’s a _______. ……

(设计意图:轻松的对话练习,既复习了前四课学过的动物单词和句型,也让学生快速进入英语课堂。)

教师将学生展示的动物图片贴在黑板上。

Step 2. New Concept

1.教学where in on under

T: Please close your eyes (教师拿走一张图片)

T: OK. Please open your eyes.

(教师出示一个盒子) Look! What’s this?

S: It’s a box.

T: Oh, look at the blackboard. What animal is missing?

S: The cat.

T: Where is the cat? Can you guess?(教师指指盒子)

S: 在盒子里。

T: Yes, it’s in the box. 课件出示:in in the box

(学生伸出手指拼读,教师板书领读in in the box)

T: Now look carefully. Where is the cat?

S: 在盒子上。

T: Yes, it’s on the box. 课件出示:on on the box

(学生伸出手指拼读,教师板书领读on on the box)

T: Now where is the cat?

S: 在盒子下面。

T: It’s under the box. 课件出示:under under the box

(学生伸出手指拼读,教师板书领读under under the box)

T: Please write in on under three times on your exercise book.

(设计意图:创设情境,让学生在情境中体会单词和句子的意思,体会英语课堂的趣味性。)

2.巩固练习

(1)L et’s play a game.教师演示:分别将不同的动物图片放在盒子的上面、下面和里面,提问:What’s in /on/under the box? 学生利用所学过的句子提问直到猜出动物是什么。然后请三位学生分别上台将图片放好提问回复直到猜出动物是什么。

(2)I say, you do

T: Now we can use “in on under” very well. Please show me your pen. And I say, you do, OK ?

S: OK.

T: The pen is on/in/under your hand.

Then show me your pencil-box and English book.

The pencil-box is in/on/under your English book.

(3) Let’s sing a song “in on under”学生拍手配上动作跟唱歌曲再次体会这三个方位词的含义。

(设计意图:通过不同形式的操练让学生在实际中运用所学内容,给学生创造机会,鼓励学生多说多用。)

3.拓展练习

(1)Ask and answer.(课件出示图片师问生答)

(2) Exercise.

T: I ask so many “where is the …?”What’s meaning of “where” ?

S: 在哪里。

T:(课件出示where含义)Let’s do a exercise.

(3) Group work.

T: I have some pictures.

Talk about it and use Where is the …? It’s in/on/under the …

Then ask some groups to show themselves.

(设计意图:采用问答练习,选择,小组讨论等形式进行拓展练习,让学生大胆实践运用所学内容。)

Draw a picture and show where the animals are to your family or friends.画一幅图展示小动物的不同位置,并用英语向家人朋友介绍。
