一、教学目标与要求
1.能够掌握A部分Let's learn中的四会单词:singer,writer,actor,actress,artist,TV reporter。
2.能够理解、认读白体句子:What does your father / mother do? He’s/ She’s a/ an... 3.能够简单介绍人物职业,如He's / She's a / an ... 二、教学重、难点
1.重点:掌握A Let’s learn 部分的五种职业的英文表达法,并能简单问答、介绍。
2.难点:正确区分运用冠词a 和an,如:an actress, a writer。
三、课前准备
1.教师准备本课的单词卡片。
2.教师准备本课的课件。
四、教学步骤
1. Warm up
T: Class begins. Good afternoon, class!
S: Good afternoon, teacher!
T: How are you?
S: I’m fine. Thank you.
T: OK, sit down, please. We have learnt some words about job. Can you read them?
T: Great, look at the screen. Let’s chant. 2. Presentation (1) T: Do you know the meaning of what’s your father/ mother?
S: Yes.
T: OK, today we’ll learn another sentence. They have the same meaning. What does he/ she do? ( First teach, then write it on the board.)
T: Look at the cards. I ask, you answer.(Practicing the new sentences.) (2) T: Now listen carefully, do you know who sing it?
S: Zhou Jielun.
T: Yes. He’s Zhou Jielun. What does he do?
S: He’s a singer.(Read by groups, two by two) (3) T: How about this book? Did you read it“淘气包马小跳”?Who write the book?
S: Yang Hongying.
T: Yes. So what does she do?
S: She’s a writer.(Read by groups, boys and girls) (4) T: Look at the woman. What does she do?
S: She’s a TV reporter.(Read by groups, two sides) (5) T: The TV reporter tells us the real things, but in a film, people act different stories. Look at the screen.
T: Who’s he?
S: He’s Feng Shaofeng.
T: What does he do?
S: He’s an actor.(Read by groups, one by one)
T: Feng Shaofeng is an actor. Who else is an actor?
S: Cheng Long is an actor.
S: Yang Mi is an actor.
T: Oh, please remember. Yang Mi is an actress. What does she do?
S: She’s an actress.(Read by groups, four by four)
T: Who else is an actress? (6) T: Look at the old man. What is he doing?
S: He’s drawing pictures.
T: What does he do?
S: He’s an artist.(Read by groups, one by one) (7) Read the words together 3. Practice: (1) Game: What’s missing?
T: Let’find out: Which new words are missing? First, let’s read together. (2) Exercise: Find the words’ home
T: Look at two lines. First line, there is “a” before the word. Second line, there is “an” before the word. Why?
S: 以元音发音开头的单词前用an。
T: Great. Let’s do an exercise to check.

S: Yes.

T: It’s time for you to do the pair work. For example, S, what does your father do? S: He’s a/ an...
T: Good, thank you. Now 1minute for you. Go!
T: Stop here. Who want to show? 5. Production: Task: Write a report
T: You are so great. Let’s do something harder. There is a task for you. First, look. Who’ she?
S: She’s Yang Mi.
T: There are some information about her. When is her birthday?
S: Sept. 12th.
T: What does she do?
S: She’s an actress.
T: How does she go to work?
S: She goes to work by car. (T: Pay attention here, we use “goes” not “go”. Because she is the third person.)
T: What’ her favourite color?
S: Green.
T: OK, we can write a report like this: This is Yang Mi. She’s an actress. She goes to work by car. Her birthday is Sept.12th. Her favourite color is green. Students read the report together.
T: Do you like those people? Who are they? Try to report them. Now take out your cards. Four students in a group. Try to write a report in 3minutes. Go!
T: Time’s up. Which group want to show? Read your report one by one.
T: Well done. Any other groups? 6. Summary
T: Are you happy today?
S: Yes!
T: Yeah, I’m happy too. Now please tell what we have learnt today? 7. Homework
T: OK, let’s your homework. No1.Copy the new words and phrases in your exercise books, each one four times. No2.Write a report about your family.
T: Class is over. Goodbye!
