教学目标：

1. 能够正确听、说、认读单词，如：

lower, shadow, smarter, become。

2. 能够听懂、读懂并内化Read and write 的内容，并能够通过阅读回答问题。

3. 能够掌握良好的阅读策略，并能够提高自主学习能力。

4.能够增强与他人交往的能力。

教学重点：

能够听懂，并内化Read and write的内容，并掌握基本的阅读策略。

教学难点：

能够提高阅读技巧，掌握基本阅读策略，并进行大胆思考。

教学步骤：

Step 1: Warming up 1. Enjoy a song《My pet》（通过歌曲热身导入）

T: Do you have a pet? What’s your pet’s name? S: Yes, I have. His name is …

T: I have a pet! It’s a duck. Look! What’s his name? (点击幻灯片上音频，让学生自己听出小鸭子的名字，引入课文主角Little Duck) S: His name is Little Duck! Step 2: Presentation 1. Little Duck is watching the sun go down.

T: Guess, what’s Little Duck doing now? (幻灯片展示) Maybe he is singing.(老师做唱歌动作,生根据动作猜测回答。) Maybe he is dancing. Maybe he is watching TV.……

T: Let’s ask Little Duck. Hi, Little Duck. What are you doing? (点击幻灯片的音频，听小鸭子的回答，引出重点句子：Little Duck is watching the sun go down. ) 幻灯片展示太阳落下动画，附带主句型：Little Duck is watching the sun go down. 主句型磁卡板书展示（主语小鸭子用简笔画）。幻灯片分别勾画

is watching 和

the sun go down. 学生试着来讲解说出汉语，教师补充。教师总结：Be 动词

+ 动词的ing 表示正在干什么。

2. The sun is getting lower and lower. T: Look, the sun is getting lower and lower. (太阳落下动画)

主句型磁卡板书展示（主语The sun 用简笔画）。由is watching 引出

is getting，生猜测汉语“正在变得”。

通过教师手势学生猜测lower and lower 汉语并进行学习

教师拿出气球吹气，幻灯片图片出示句子：The balloon is getting _______________ (bigger and bigger). T: Look, the balloon is getting…

生来补充越来越大。再将气球放气，生来说句子：The balloon is getting smaller and smaller. 同上：

The rubber cord is getting longer and longer. 3. Old Tree is older and smarter。

幻灯片展示图片和句子Little Duck is watching the sun go down with

his friend Old Tree.引出Old Tree. T: Old Tree is Little Duck’s friend. Who is younger, Little Duck or Old Tree?

Ss：Little Duck is older. T: Old tree is ______ and smarter. 引导学生补充句子，引出重点句子

：Old Tree is older and smarter。

重点句子磁卡板书展示（主语Old Tree 用简笔画）。开火车操练此重点句子。

4. Why is my shadow longer when the sun gets lower? T: Look, what are they talking about? Listen. (让生听录音复述听到的了什么) S1: Shadow…

T: Do you know “shadow”? Ss: 影子！操练生词shadow 注意ow字母组合发音。

再次听录音，多听几遍，让生完整复述出问句。找学生说出汉语，幻灯片展示。

播放全文录音，找出问题答案，划出与问题有关的重点句子。

学生用书上说标句子回答问题。多找几位生。订正问题答案。

角色扮演，同桌对话，并进行展示。

4. Can a duck become a big beautiful bird? 设置开放性答案，让学生自由回答。教师总结：Old Tree gave a beautiful wish to Little Duck. 在孩子心中种下美好。

5. What will happen to you in the future? T: Do you know what will happen to you in the future? 引导生自由回答，若有难度，引入Old Tree角色，T: Let’s ask Old Tree.

Old Tree：You’re getting taller and taller! You’re getting smarter and smarter. ...

6. The harder you studied, the more progress you made. 你越努力，取得的进步越大。
