一、教学目标



语言知识与技能

1. 学生在The Chens have a new home的语境中，学习、理解运用本单元的核

心词汇north, south, west, east, study, a lot of 以及短语be happy with, faces…, a lot of sunshine, all day。

2. 通过文本的学习，能用本单元核心句型Why…? Because…进行询问和应答。

3. 通过文本学习，了解房间的不同方位对居住者的影响以及大雁南飞的原因。

4. 学习掌握语音/f/, /v/, /θ/, / ð /的发音，并能正确跟读含有这些语音的单词。



文化与情感

1. 通过文本阅读、视听体验、活动交流等，更了解自己家庭的房屋居住情况，

通过描述自己的家，表达爱家的情感。

2. 通过文本学习，能够拓展知识，了解大雁南飞的原因。



学习策略

能在课堂学习中，通过倾听、模仿、阅读、思考及两两合作等方式，完成学习任务。



语用任务

通过本单元的学习，学生能够从房间的方位、性质以及功能等方面简单介绍自己的家。

二、教材分析

本单元的教学围绕着Moving home这个话题展开教学，我执教的是第一课时，主要的是教学四个方位。本课的核心词汇是east, south, west, north。核心句型是：Why? Because ...在语用方面是要求学生能够从房间的方位、性质以及功能等方面简单介绍自己的家。要求语音基本正确，内容基本达意。

三、学生分析

本单元的教学内容对五年级的学生既有熟悉的部分，如家庭中各个房间的名称；又有陌生的部分，如各个房间的朝向是全新的。所以在教学中要合理安排时间，轻房间名称而重方位，并通过活动设计使学生循序渐进的操练和掌握核心词汇与句型。

四、重点难点

1. 重点：能在倾听和朗读文本的过程中，能正确理解核心词汇south , east , west , north的意思，并能模仿跟读。

2. 难点：能听懂单元核心句型

Why…? Because…的含义，能根据文本内容说说所喜

欢的房间及其理由。

五、教学过程

活动1: Pre- task
