一.知识目标:1. 理解并掌握重点词汇·:goalkeeper,catch the ball, neck,tallest,teamwork,gate, others ,guy, happen, guy, almost等。2. 理解并运用重点句型:How tall are you?How heavy are you?3. 读懂故事,逐步理解,能表演故事。

二、能力目标:1. 培养学生养成良好“听”的习惯。2. 培养学生自主学习、合作学习的能力。3. 培养学生运用英语的交际、交流能力。

三、情感目标:促进学生对运动的喜爱,培养学生对生的热爱,积极地生活态度。

四、教学重难点:教学重点:本课重点goalkeeper,catch the ball, neck,tallest,teamwork,gate, others, guy, happen, guy, almost等,重点句型:How tall are you?How heavy are you?教学难点:句型Football needs teamwork. He is almost bigger than the goal.

五、教具:PPT, tape , 头饰。

六、教学过程Step 1: Warming-up:

1、Greetings.

2、Let’s sing : My small cat

3.Free talk :

T : How tall are you ? S: I’m 1.61 metres .

T: I’m 1.61 metres. S: I’m 1cm taller than you .

T: How old are you ? S: I’m 12.

T: I’m 10 years older than you .

T: How heavy are you ? S: I’m 46 kilograms.

T: I’m 50 kilograms. I’m 4 kilograms heavier than you .

T: What size are your shoes ? S: Size 7. What about you? T: Size 8. S: Your feet are bigger than mine.

T: Sit down , please . S: You are welcome !

Step 2:Presentation

(1)教师和学生进行自由对话,如:问:

T:Do you like animals? Ss: …教师出示football club 图片,引出goalkeeper,板书并教读。

(2)Pre- reading:教师播放Storytime板块的动画,学生听一遍,了解故事梗概。回答问题:1.How many animals can you see? 2.What are they? 3.What are they talking about?

(3)While-reading : 教师再次播放Story time动画并回答以下问题:

1. How tall is Mr Deer?

2. How heavy is Mr Deer?

3. What is the Mr Zebra like?

4. Who can't be a goalkeeper ? Why ?

5. Who can be a goalkeeper at last ?

6. Why does Hippo be the goalkeeper at last ?

(4) 教师播放Story time板块的录音,学生齐读,模仿语音语调。

(5) 教师讲解课文并教读生词。

(5) Retell the story .

Act out the story .

Step 4: Summary

1.Teamwork is very important in the group .
