1．能听、说、读单词及短语mountain, forest, village, sick, send, other, take care of. 2.掌握下列短语：black and white ,take good care of, say goodbye to ,go back into the forest.

3．能运用”there be…”句型回答短文提问。

4．正确理解和朗读短文内容，并进行相关的拓展阅读。

二、教学过程

1．Warm-up：Greetings ( 1.) Say a chant (课件呈现) In a big big school ,there is a big big classroom. In the big big classroom ,there is a big big desk. In the big big desk, there is a big big box. In the big big box, there is a big big red apple. Wow, I’m so happy. 设计意图：师生熟悉，消除陌生感；复习对话课文的重点句型，愉悦地进入课堂学习。

2．Lead-in：

1.Free talk(课件呈现一只熊猫)

Q：Do you like pandas? What do you know about pandas? It is valuable.

T: Do you want to learn more about pandas? Ok, now , Let’s come to text and read the story about the baby panda. 设计意图：通过对话引入本课内容

3．Presentation：

a．Read and answer questions.（课件呈现课文的每幅图片及问题）

b.Check out the answers according to the text, explain the story and point out the key words and phrases. c.Summary （教育学生保护国家珍奇动物）

d．Listend and read the story（课件呈现无图片的课文）

设计意图：设置问题让学生逐段阅读课文，培养学生的skim能力。进一步理解课文掌握知识点。读懂故事为下一步复述课文做好准备。

4．Consolidation：

a．Tell the story to your friends. b.Describe（描述）your room. 设计意图：运用“There be…”句型，提高学生说和写的能力. c.Summary （教育学生保护国家珍奇动物）

d．Listend and read the story（课件呈现无图片的课文）
