the Present Progressive Passive Voice 现在进行时的被动语态

一. 知识目标：

1. Get students to know the structure of the present progressive passive voice.

2. Let students learn the usages of the present progressive passive voice. 二. 能力目标：

Enable students to use the present progressive passive voice correctly. 三. 情感目标：

Get students to become interested in grammar learning. 四. 教学重点：

Get students to master the structure and usages of the present progressive passive voice. 五. 教学难点：

Step1: Grammar revision

1. The structure of the passive voice:

Be + V-ed

e.g.: 1) The Olympic Games are usually held in big cities.

2) The last Olympic Games was held in London.

2. The structure of the present continuous tense: Be + V-ing

e.g.: I am watching TV.

He is reading. 1

Step2: Look at the following sentence and pay attention to the underline parts.

1. We are being killed for the wool beneath our stomachs.

2. Our fur is being used to make sweater for people like you.

3. I wonder what is being dong to help you.

4. Daisy turned around and found that she was being watched by an elephant.

5. So good things are being done here to save local wild life. Step3: 现在进行时的被动语态

the present progressive passive voice 1. 构成：

am/is/are (not) + being + 过去分词

2. 意义：

……正在被做

e.g.: 1) English id being taught by Mr. Yang now.

2) Some animals are (not) being protected well. 3. 用法：

(1) 表示说话时正在进行的一个被动动作，强调主语是动作的承受者。

e.g.: Look! The baby is being taken care of by her aunt.

(2) 表示现阶段正在进行的被动动作。但此时此刻不一定在进行的被动动作。

e.g.: Recently, a new building is being built near our school.

(3) 表示一种经常性或习惯性的被动行为，常与always, often等连用，往往带有赞扬、责备、厌烦及埋怨等感情色彩。

e.g.: Tom is always being praised by the teacher.

(4) 表示按计划或者安排将要进行的一个被动动作（进行时表将来）。

e.g.: A Christmas party is being held tonight.

(5) 与情态动词连用，表示对现在正在发生的被动行为的推测。

e.g.: Andy Lau is not here. He must be being interviewed. Step4: 即学即练：
