Enable Ss to use the–ing form as the subject and object correctly according to thre context. -Emotion objectives（情感目标）

Let Ss learn which verbs are followed by the _ing form as the object and which by the infinitive. 2.

Get Ss to grasp which verbs can be followed by both the _ing form and the infinitive and have the same meaning. 3.

Have Ss master which verbs can be followed by both the _ing form and the infinitive but express different meanings. Difficult points(教学难点)

(1).Play an English song named Don’t Worry, Be Happy as the background music.

(2).Divide the class into several groups.

Step2 Greeting and warming up（问候和热身）

Inform Ss that the best way of learning anything is to discover it by oneself. Encourage Ss to be brave, to be active, and to be creative in this English class. Step3 lead-in（导入）

Invite Ss to enjoy an English song named Love.Then,get Ss to fill in the missing words.Finally, encourage Ss to sum up the similarity of the form of each verb. Step4 Grammar learning Activity1

Get Ss to be familiar with the structures of the

_ing phrases by reading and comparing sentences related to the

_ing form

Drive Ss to have a discussion and present their questions group by group.(Ss can refer to Exx on P13 and P50 to check their understanding of –ing form as the subject and

object.)

Ask Ss to explore the problems and try to explain the difficulties actively. Remind Ss of taking notes while listening to solutions and great ideas.(the teacher designs several problems in case of their

missing the major uses) Step5

Grammar practice Ask Ss whether they need to check answers to Exx on P13 and P50 first.Then,get Individuals to challenge them to complete a quiz. (The teacher tries to approve of students’ discovery and their thoughts.) Step6 Develop skills（技能拓展）

The teacher introcuces her hobbies/habits as well as her worries/dreams in written English. Also, a short passage is presented to the whole class. Then, Ss start to write a short

introduction to one of their friends by using the _ing form as the subject and

object. Remind Ss of the following content: (1) what he /she loves/likes /hates doing and why. (2)what he /she cares about /dreams of doing in the future. 7. Homework（作业）
