Unit 5 It’a parrot. Lesson 27 .

一.The teaching aims.

1.The knowledge aims.

Try to remember “owl, dog, parrot, panda” and so on . Try to learn and use “What’s that?——It’s a …”

The ability aims.

Train the students to use these new words and sentences. Such as : owl, dog, parrot, panda and so on .

What’s that ? ——It’s a …

2.The moral aims.

Let them know how to ask and can write letter “Oo Pp”. 二.The teaching important and difficult point .

The important point is “What’s that ?——It’s a …”

The difficult point is the pronunciation of the letter“Oo Pp”.

三.The teaching tools.

I’d like to use cards, pictures, objects, PPT and tape recorder. These can arouse students’ interest.

四.The teaching steps.

1.Warm-up.

Teacher and students do the free talk together. Ask and answer the questions. For example:T ask what’s this?

S answers .T ask what’s this ? and so on.

2.Presentation.

Show the main aims. Look at the screen and let the students talk about the picture. Listen the tape and know what they are talking about. And then do the dialogue.

3.Practice.

Play a little game. Then show the words: owl, dog, rabbit. And let students sing the songs as follows. “What’s this ?What’s that ?”.

4.Consolidation.

Let the students make up the conversation. Do the role play. Find three group to show it out.

五.Summary and homework.

Summarize the whole lesson. Let’s see what we have learnt today. And then arrange the homework.

1.Oral homework: Read conversation fluently.

2.Written homework: Write the key words rightly.
