【教学目标】

1．学习关于英国的相关常识。

2．学习U.K., London, Buckingham Palace, queen, king, 能用英语向他人介绍有关英国的知识。

3．激发学生对英语的持久兴趣，培养运用语言进行交际的能力，了解中西文化的差异。

【教学重点、难点】

能用英语向其他人简单介绍英国这个国家。

【教学方法】讲授法，练习法，任务教学法。

【教学准备】

单词卡片，幻灯片，世界地图,小闹钟，扑克牌，录音机。

【教学过程】

Step1 :Greeting and review 1. Greeting: Hello,boys and girls . Nice to see you. 2. Review the words:Show some cards. 3.Lesson hook: T: Today we’ll learn about a new country. I have some pictures about this country. Let’s have a look.幻灯片呈现英国组图。T:What country is this? 板书课题

Step2：New Concept 1.A map of the U.K.

T：What do you know about the U.K.?学生回答。 Where is the U.K.? Let’s have a look.出示世界地图，引导学生了解英国的大概位置,大小。课件呈现英国地图T：What’s this? This is a map of the U.K.

(1). Beijing is the capital city of China.What is the capital city of the U.K.? Can you say it in Chinese or in English? This is the capital city of the U.K. (指向英国地图上伦敦) London is the capital city of the U.K.

(2).What do they speak in the U.K.? It’s easy. Do you know? They speak English in the U.K. (3).Look, what’s this? (课件呈现英国国旗图片) It’s the U.K.’s flag. (4). What colour is the U.K.’s flag? It’s red, white and blue. The U.K.’s flag is red, white and blue. （5）What does it look like?（指出英国国旗是“米”字旗）

（6）课件呈现问题，让学生齐读。

学生听录音跟读找答案。教师了解学生完成情况，视学生完成情况，教师领读和安排学生自读课文。

请学生回答问题，课件呈现答案。

（7）问答练习：男、女生齐问齐答、分角色朗读课文。

Oh, what’s this? It’s so big. It’s so beautiful. Do you know it in Chinese? It’s Buckingham Palace.（补充介绍白金汉宫资料）

Who lives in the Buckingham Palace? 3) 课件呈现女王图片Who is she?

This is a queen. Queens live in Buckingham Palace. 课件呈现英国国王图片

Who is he? This is a king. Kings live in Buckingham Palace. Kings and queens live in palaces 4)Where there is the queen? Where there is the king? 教师出示扑克牌Q和K。

5）课件呈现塔桥、大英博物馆图片，并作简单介绍。

6)听录音，学生看书跟读第二部分。（回归文本）

7)教师小结：引导学生复习所学内容。
