1) 学习掌握各类电视和电视节目的名称。

2) 谈论对某事物的喜好程度。

3)让学生运用所学句型“What do you think of…?”对某一事物进行评价,并且学会谈论计划。

难点 掌握动词不定式结构做动词的宾语这一语法知识; 掌握后面接动词不定式做宾语的动词。

Greeting and Lead-in

T: Do you like watching TV in your free time? S1: Yes, I do T: What kind of TV shows do you like? S2: I like…

T: OK. Now, let’s look at some pictures. (利用多媒体图片呈现本课时的词汇sitcom,news, soap opera,game show, talent show, sports show, talk show.)

Step II

Presentation

Present a dialogue. Read and find out their opinions about the TV shows. (Discuss it in your group.) Find two students to read the conversation and act out the conversation

Explain the key point.

Step III

Grammar focus

One ask one answer. Read the sentences together and then help students to understand it. Find out the key words and explain it. (want, Plan , expect, hope ...)

Step IV

Practice (3a)

1.Tell students to read the conversation in 3a and try to fill in the blanks with right words. 2. Check the answers and solve the problems. 3. Practice and show the conversation.

Step V Practice (3b)

1, Look at some pictures and answer the questions.

2, Answer the questions according to their own fact. 3, Check their answers for each other and correct mistakes.

Complete the chart

The teacher first asks students questions:Do you want to watch a movie? Do you hope to watch a sitcom? Do you expect to watch the news? Do you plan to watch a sports show?
