二教学目标

1 知识目标：

＊掌握课标要求的“四会”词汇：discussion, happen expect,joke ＊能听、说非“四会”词汇：comedy ＊掌握以下句型：❶--Do you want to watch the news? - Yes, I do. I don't. ❷- What do you think of talk shows? -I don't mind them. /I can't stand them. /I love watching them. ❸- What do you plan to watch tonight? -I plan to watch Days of Our Past ❹-What can you expect to learn from sitcom？

-We can learn some jokes. ❺-Why do you like watching the news? -Because I hope to find out what’s going on around the world.

五教学思路

Unit 5主要围绕“看电视节目”这一话题展开教学，目的是让学生如何运用目标语言，学会表达自己的喜/恶。本课是第二课时，我从生活实际出发,询问学生对电视节目的看法复习第一课时的内容,导入2d的教学,并以GrammaFocus为重点和根据，完成3a-3c的教学。我根据学情，对课文中的2d增添了任务：阅读任务，目的在于加强学生的阅读技能。设计思路教法详细如下：

1 新课导入：通过询问学生对电视节目的喜好和看法进行复习，然后运用图片创设情境，从而导入本课2d的学习。

2 词汇和目标句型教学：分阶段落实词汇和句型教学，把

词汇教学贯穿于各个环节中进行。

运用情境图片，通过复习手段教学词汇：discussion，joke （2）通过2d对话，学习词汇：happen 和 expec （3）通过3b的句型学习词汇：comedy. （理念：不孤立教学词汇，把词汇教学融入到语境、情境和句型中进行；分阶段落实词汇教学和句型巩固，有利于学生更容易掌握。）

3能力培养实施：运用课件图片、语境情境、课文2d、3a和3c进行口头训练，提高听说能力和阅读能力。同时借助一些练习突破重难点. 4 情感目标培养实施: 通过师生问答和学生采访活动来增强学生合作意识。

教学过程

Step 1 Revision ❶Fill in the blanks:

Ask what they think of the TV shows and learn the new words: discussion and joke Step 2 Lead in Show a picture and tell students:

Sarah’s class had a discussion about TV shows. you need to have a fast reading to get the main idea, Underline the new words and difficult langunge points at the same time. Later finish the two tasks.

Step3 Teach Acativity 2d First，Read the conversation and answer the following questions: 1) What TV show do Sarah’s classmates like watching?

2)What TV show does Grace like watching? Why? Whatabout Sarah? Secondly,read the new words ,pay attentiontotheir pronunctions,then read the conversation after the tape.

Third, make their own conversations. Then ask some paires to act out the conversations.( This step helps them to improve their oral English and speaking skills) Explanation :discussion and expect to do sth.

Step 4 Grammar focus ＊Read the sentences together and then help students to summarize the grammar.Pay attention to the underlined parts ＊ Explain infinitives used as objects. ＊Do some exercise about infinitives used as objects. Step 5 Practice (3a) ＊First show some sentences in 3a, and ask students to fill in the blanks with the TV show words. ＊Complete the questions with the TV show words (This step helps students know how to finish the sentences and grasp the responses to the questions.) ＊Practice it with your partners. Step6 Pair work (3b) Firstly, ask some of the students to say sentenc given words. Secondly, ask others to answer. Then ask each of the students to write questions . Ask and answer with a partner.One asks, the other answers. (This step helps to train the usages of the present tense.) Finally,show teacher’s view. Step 7 Make a survey(3c) The teacher first asks students questions: Do you watch a movie? Do you hope to watch a sitcom? Do you expect to watch the news?

Do you plan to watch a sports show? Some students would say like this: Yes,I do. /No,I don’t Make the survey: Ask your classmakes questions and write their names in the chart Step 8 Explaination Step9 Summary Help the students know when and how to use the present tense.
