教学目标：

1、知识目标：学生能听懂、会说、认读并书写“here”，认读、理解并运用“Here is_____”。

2、能力目标：能用英语向他人介绍有关英国的知识。

3、情感目标：激发学生对英语的持久兴趣，培养运用语言进行交际的能力，了解中西文化的差异。

教学重点、难点：能用英语向其他人简单介绍英国这个国家。

教学过程：

一、

Class Opening and Review 1. Greetings 2. Let’s chant: part3 in lesson 11 3. Game: Happy Face, Sad Face.

通过综合语言训练方式复习了中国、加拿大、美国和澳大利亚的基本常识。

I live in China. I speak Chinese.

Niagara Falls is a famous waterfall in China.

The capital city of Canada is Canberra.

The flag of Australia is red, white and blue. I know this country. This is Washington,D.C.

New Contents 1.导入课题，教师出示英国地图，向学生介绍英国的全称。

T: What country is this？

Ss: It’s the U.K. T: Yes.The U.K. is short for the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. We can call it the United Kingdom.大不列颠及北爱尔兰联合王国，又称联合王国，通称英国。

2.通过引导学生：你想知道关于英国的哪些方面？并出示图片来讨论英国，教师可以进行简单的提示。

What do you want to know about the U.K.? 教师板书。

Do you know the capital city of the U.K.?

What do they speak in the U.K.?

What colour is the flag of the U.K.?

Do you know famous places in the U.K.?

Answers: London is the capital city of the U.K.

They speak English in the U.K. The flag of the U.K. is red、white and blue.

Big Ben is in London. Buckingham Palace is in London. The king and queen live in the Buckingham Palace. 3. 完成表格，然后进行生生问答练习。
