Knowledge and ability objectives:

Students can use their own words to describe the cartoons or movies they like; Students can use the sentence structures they learned to write their own movie review. Students can know much more about the characters, Mickey and Mulan

Students need to do some oral practice individually and know some sentences to describe the movie or cartoon they like. Then try to make them a writing. 3.

It’s a little hot today, isn’t it?

OK, let’s enjoy a beautiful song to relax yourself. (play the song) T: Do you like this song?

Can you sing it?

You can sing with the music.

Do you remember anything from the song? T: Yeah. A cartoon T: What’s its name?

Show the picture- Frozen. T: What any other cartoons do you know? Show some cartoons and ask students to say their names together. Step2. Presentation Present the main figure-Mickey and ask students to say something about it. (check their preview work) Present the key sentences and phrases. Step3. Practice Ask students to choose a number they like and further know much about Mickey. Do an oral practice using the phrases or sentences listed. Read the phrases and try to remember them Work on the passages and fill in blanks The teacher gives some explanations about some important points. Step4. Consolidation

Ask students to make some sentences using the phrases we’ve learned. Work on the passage about Mulan and choose the correct answers. Writing practice - My favorite movie. Ask students to show their writings and give some comments. Step5 Homework See a film or choose a TV show you like and give them some comments.

课后反思

本节课为复习课，所以我将课本上的练习题进行了相应的整合，将问题部分改成了文章，让学生在语篇中进一步感知语言，并学会如何评价一部电影或动画片。这种题型正好结合了目前中考比较重要的一个题型，即综合填空和语法填空。与此同时，要求学生课前做好预习，更深层次的了解本节课的两个重要电影和动画角色---木兰和米老鼠。对于短语造句部分，我则是先让学生在文章中学会应用，然后再写出自己的句子。最后让学生再通过一个选词填空练习，加以对这种题型做题方法上的巩固。

本节课的不足之处是：1. 给学生思考的时间有点少；2. 拓展的知识面不够广，学生的思维有所限制。
