Train students’ communicative skills of making accepting and declining invitations.

教学过程：

Step 1 : Revision Greet the boys and girls. Show the pictures and ask. Ask : How many days do you come to school every week? Ss : Five days. How many days are you free at home? Ss:Two days. Show words ,revision days of the week.Sunday,Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday,Friday and Saturday. Step 2 : Write First Let students do 1a:write the dates for this week on the calendar.Let students know the way to write the dates,for example:January 1st

May the fifteenth Check the answers. Secondly let students read the words in 1b and do 1b.Check the anawers with students.

Finally let students do 1c:ask and answer questions about the days in 1a.they do it with parters like this:

A:What’s today?

B:It’s Monday the 14th. A:What day is/was it today/tomorrow/the day after tomorrow/yesterday? B:It is/was……

Step 3 :Listening Do 1d.Can Vince play tennis with Andy?Circle Yes or No. Play the recording Check the answers with students.then tell the students to listen again.
