1、掌握以下句型

A: What’s today?

B: It’s Monday the 14th. A: Can you play tennis with me? B: Sorry, I can’t . I have to go to the doctor and study for a test today.

A: What are you doing the day after tomorrow? B: I’m playing soccer.

2、熟练掌握以下词汇：

学会制作自己的日程表。

五、教学过程

Ⅰ. Revision

1. 复习上节课所学短语。

2. 复习表达请求与应答请求。

3. 复习一些常用的委婉地表达拒绝的方式。

Ⅱ.Warming up

1. Show a calendar to the Ss, then let them answer some questions.

T: What day is today/tomorrow/the day after tomorrow?

S: It’s Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday.

2. T: What was/is the date yesterday/the day before yesterday/ today/tomorrow/the day after tomorrow?

S: 13th/14th/15th…. Let the students ask these questions one by one.

Ⅲ. Work on 1a and 1b.

1. 小组内交流课前准备II的内容。

2. 观察1a中的日历，将本周的日历填写进去。

3. 大声朗读1b中的词汇，猜猜意思，填到1a的日历

Work on 1d: 1. Vince

和Andy 一起去打网球吗？听录音，完成1d. Tell Ss to listen to Vince and Andy’s conversation. Then circle Yes or No.

2. Play the recording for the Ss. Ss just listen for the first time. Play the recording again and circle.

3. Play the recording and check the answers with the Ss.

Work on 1e:

2 读一读1b和1d中的单词或词组，注意听对话中是如何表达将来的计划或活动的。听第二遍录音，完成1e Tell Ss they'll listen to the tape again. Then try to match Vince’s activities with the days in 1d.

听力指导: 通过事先读表格中的内容，可以看出，本听力重点要求我们听清每个活动的时间安排，因此我们在听时应重点听句子中的活动及其时间, 并将时间与活动内容相连。

2. Ss listen to the recording carefully and try to match Vince’s activities with the days.

3.再听一遍录音，试着补全听力原文

Andy: Hi , Vince? Vince : Yeah, hi , Andy!

Play the recording again and check the answers with the class.

VII. Pair work

1. 同伴两人练习1f。并全班展示。评出哪组最优秀！

Work in pairs. One is Andy and the other is Vince. Andy, invite Vince to play tennis.

Ask Ss to practice the conversations in pairs.
