Section B 3a —4 Self check Teaching procedure Step One Leading-in Ask students about their summer vacation. 1.Where did you go on vacation ? 2.Did you go with anyone ? 3.How did you feel about the trip ? (教学设计说明：用三个问题进行热身，让学生了解本课的话题是谈论假期旅行。并导出关键句How did you feel about the trip?) Step Two Pair-work 3b&4 1.Imagine all the students are the foreigners on vacation in China. They meet each other at the airport on the way home. Then they talk about their trips in China . （教学设计说明：创设情境）

2.Give students some questions to help them talk about their trips. （教学设计说明：给出的问题即可引导学生对话，操练句型，也为接下来的日记内容做好准备。）

3.Students work in pairs. Ask some pairs to act in front of the class. （教学设计说明：学生的台前表演是自我展示的好机会。）

Step Three 3a 1.Tell students about my trip to Beijing. Show them some photos of the places of interest. （教学设计说明：关键词展示）

2.Encourage students to ask questions about my trip to Beijing and write down the key words . （教学设计说明：学生把前面操练的句型准确运用，教师的回答帮助学生扩展了词汇。）

3.Show the diary and ask students to complete it . One student reads the diary to all the class.

Step Four Writing-guide 1. Show my own diary , and let students to find out what I talk about in my diary . （教学设计说明：分析日记内容，查找有效信息，画出思维导图，让学生清楚的知道一篇旅游日记可以写什么内容，为接下来的写作做好准备，使学生不致于无话可说，无事可写。） 2.Remind students the format of a diary and the right tense. （教学设计说明：指出日记格式，及一般过去时在日记写作中的运用。）

Step Five 3c

1.Let students write a diary about the trip on vacation. (教学设计说明：学生动手写作。) 2.Exchange and correct the diary . （教学设计说明：学生的互相修改会比老师的检查更有效，为了不让搭档挑出错，学生的作文会写得更仔细，一次比一次好。）

3.Show some diaries and ask students to tell the mistakes and find out the good sentences. （教学设计说明：学生互相讲评作文让他们很愉悦，使枯燥的写作课充满气氛。）

Step Six Summary and Homework 1.Summary : talk about trips and learn what to write in a diary and how to write a diary. （教学设计说明：总结本课的知识，激发学习的成就感。）

2.Read more travel diaries after class. （教学设计说明：阅读使人智慧。）
